"Go easy on him, Levi. This guy is an officer, after all. We can still get some useful intelligence out of him through interrogation."

Arthur walked over just then, carrying Marleyan weapons: a bolt-action rifle, hand grenades, and a pistol resembling a Mauser.

"Tch, no respect for your seniors." Levi was somewhat annoyed that Arthur had called him by name, but Arthur was the commander, after all.

He glanced at the captain, then walked away.

"All right, stop staring. They don't look any different." Arthur was rather speechless as he watched the Survey Corps members eyeing the Marleyan soldiers curiously from every angle, as though looking at monkeys.

"His skin's so dark, like coal," Sasha said in surprise, pointing at a Black soldier.

The Black soldier glared at Sasha, clearly displeased.

"Aside from a slight difference in skin color, there isn't really anything different about them." Jean reached his conclusion after observing them for a while.

"We did live together in the past, after all." Armin sighed as he looked at the Marleyans, who looked no different from him.

They were all human, yet they now had to fight to the death because of their ancestors' sins.

"What should we do now, Arthur?" Mikasa came over to ask his opinion.

"Lock them up first. I'll interrogate them personally, one at a time, in a bit. Let's start with that captain." Arthur looked at the Marleyan soldiers as he spoke.

Mikasa nodded.

But just then, a blond soldier stood up.

"Sit down!" Floch, who was standing guard nearby, immediately reacted as though facing a formidable enemy. He pointed his blade at the soldier and roared.

But the soldier remained fearless in the face of danger and refused to comply. Her protruding chest also made it clear that she was a woman.
