Lu Mingfei lowered his head to look at the bronze armor plates scattered at his feet. Only then did he realize that the armor, which had looked smooth and seamless before, was actually made up of many plates.
"Speaking of which, I fought a Dragon Servitor here before. It didn't have these plates on it," Lu Mingfei said, kicking the fragments on the ground.
"I have Ronald Tang's memories. I knew its flesh couldn't withstand your attacks, so I made this suit of armor for it."
Norton looked at Samson nearby. Without its armor, the white dragon looked entirely different. Its exposed scales were gray, and its two golden slit pupils blinked. It huddled behind Norton, its tail curled around its hind legs, looking much more docile than it had in its white armor.
"Why was it white?"
"The white was simply the color of tin. The higher the tin content, the greater the hardness, and the stronger its resistance to your beam attacks," Norton said, explaining his handiwork. "The trade-off is reduced toughness and greater brittleness, but there's plenty of material here, so that hardly counts as a drawback."
"Why cover its eyes too?"
Samson was licking its claws, its eyes half closed, looking just like a lizard getting sleepy in the sun.
"Because I got hold of the mission briefing for your 'Kui Gate Operation' on the Hunter Website. I discovered that an instantaneous flash of intense light could still blind Samson. Since I was controlling it from inside anyway, it didn't need its eyes."
So you didn't need eyesight to play StarCraft, huh? If the person in front of him had been Old Tang, he would definitely have picked up on that joke.
"What about the Entry Plug in its spine?"
"Entry Plug? That's the control core."
