Li Qiuzhi accompanied the girls around the entire village, finally arriving at Shenhe's former home.
"Could there still be anything here?"
After a brief breeze, the long tails of Hu Tao's outfit swayed gently, brushing her fair calves.
"I don't know. When I came here last time, Father was already gone, and I didn't go inside."
Shenhe blinked her beautiful eyes, briefly veiling her silver-white pupils and the trace of sorrow in them.

Unable to keep still, Hu Tao had been looking all around and discovered a terribly tattered note on the table, though its main contents were still legible.
"What does it say?" Li Qiuzhi asked curiously.

Hu Tao examined it carefully and realized that Shenhe's father seemed to have written it in regret after everything was over. He had thought Shenhe was already dead, so
