"Tell us. Why did you lure adventurers into the Domain?"
Li Qiuzhi looked down at the Cryo Abyss Mage from above and demanded an answer.
"So you really do know!"
The Cryo Abyss Mage felt its suspicions had been confirmed, but at the same time, it wondered how these humans knew.
And this was the Domain's second floor. How had they explored their way here in so little time?!
"Enough nonsense. Answer my attendant's question!" Fischl clenched her pale hand, making as if to punch it.
"Don't hit me! Don't hit me!" The Cryo Abyss Mage begged repeatedly, then could not help letting out a wicked laugh. "Heh heh, what does it matter if I tell you? The moment so many of you humans stepped inside, our objective was already achieved!"
"Oh?" Oz the Night Raven sounded puzzled.
Li Qiuzhi and his two companions frowned at its words, clearly somewhat worried.
Very satisfied with the humans' reactions, the Cryo Abyss Mage continued:
"This Domain originally had no portal here. Our great Apostle used his formidable power to tear open a spatial rift leading inside!"
Could the Apostle be an Abyss Herald? Li Qiuzhi pondered briefly.
He vaguely remembered that the Abyss Order was indeed highly accomplished in spatial abilities. They even had a complete teleportation network of their own, allowing them to go wherever they pleased, far more impressive than Teleport Waypoints.
"Of course, the Apostle is very busy. He left after entrusting us with this task. Hmph, otherwise, a twitch of his finger would be enough to bury all of you here!"
The Cryo Abyss Mage gesticulated wildly, looking extremely smug as it spoke of the Apostle.
"Aaah!"
Fischl raised her right foot, clad in a high-heeled ankle boot. Her black tights hugged her leg, outlining her bent knee
