Fontaine was a nation of water.
Its geography was rather unusual within Teyvat. If the entire continent were treated as a flat plane, the whole landmass of Fontaine rose above it by at least several dozen to a hundred meters.
It was like an enormous mountain peak sliced flat at its base, with an elevation far higher than the other nations.
Vast quantities of water then flowed down from Fontaine's borders, like a colossal ring-shaped waterfall!
The water flowed in every direction, connecting the waterways of all Teyvat. Essentially, all the continent's water flowed out of Fontaine and would ultimately return to Fontaine.
That was why Fontaine was called the nation of water, and Lumidouce Harbor had been built along the cliffs at Fontaine's border.
It was divided into upper and lower levels.
The lower level lay beneath the cliffs at Fontaine's border and covered a relatively large area. Many merchant ships were moored nearby to unload their cargo, making it a bustling, prosperous place.
The lift on the lower level could take people up to the upper level.
The upper level lay atop the cliffs and covered a slightly smaller area, but many merchant ships were moored nearby here as well. They had come to load cargo.
It seemed that Lumidouce Harbor's lift could not raise entire ships, so merchant ships had to be waiting above to receive the cargo.
Standing on solid ground after disembarking, Li Qiuzhi and the others marveled at the sheer number of ships nearby, while also finding the waterfall surrounding the entire island rather incredible.
"So this is Lumidouce Harbor?"
Lumine spoke with wonder. Even after traveling through the Sea of Stars and witnessing many wondrous sights, she had rarely seen geography like Fontaine's.
"Yeah!"
Li Qiuzhi nodded in agreement.
Fontaine's map had not
