Mondstadt City was surrounded by walls. If an Abyss Mage had flown over them, the patrolling Knights of Favonius were not blind. Even if they had been careless, they could not have missed such a conspicuous creature.
Could it have blinked in with magic? Or had it come directly through the Abyss Order's teleportation network?
An Abyss Mage's blink range did not seem particularly long. If it approached the outskirts of Mondstadt City before blinking, there was a chance the Knights of Favonius would spot it.
