Arataki Itto took out his stone-studded club and led the way.

Xingqiu and Hu Tao drew their weapons too, while Fischl readied her purple bow.

Ley line corruption surged forth.

"Wa-wa-wa-wa-wa!" A large number of Hilichurls shrouded in purplish-black energy leaped out.

There were more than thirty Hilichurls, some carrying shields, others carrying crossbows, along with Hilichurl Shamans.

[Diluc: Kaeya, don't think I can't put you in your place just because you've gotten stronger.]

Arataki Itto said, "Just a few corrupted Hilichurls? Piece of cake."

It smashed two club-wielding Hilichurls to pieces. He swung his enormous club in a furious barrage, slamming it into the ground like an earthquake.

[Thoma: Our cliff-diving friend really is something. He's incredibly strong.]

[Kaeya: Why else would he spend all day shouting that he's number one?]

[Kujou Sara: He's just a brute who knows nothing but raw strength.]

He could kill one with a single swing. His attacks certainly packed a punch.

But the Hilichurl archers weren't about to stand idle. They fired at the walking target.

Everyone had only just started praising him when an arrow struck Arataki Itto in the butt. "Sneak attacks are shameful!"

[Chongyun: ...]

Arataki Itto smashed a Hilichurl Shaman to death, and the archers aimed at him again.

"In the name of judgment! Leave this to the Prinzessin!"

Fischl fired three Electro arrows in rapid succession.

Oz had already flown over as well, spitting out balls of lightning.

Bang, bang, bang, bang! The explosions sent the Hilichurl archers screaming.

Arataki Itto blinked. "Not bad!"

Meanwhile, Hu Tao and Xingqiu worked together remarkably well.

"Raincutter!"

"Guhua Secret Art!"

Water swords struck with swift, nimble movements.

"Butterfly's Fire!!!" Hu Tao leaped up and swept her polearm across.

Seven or eight corrupted Hilichurls died instantly.

Hu Tao and Xingqiu combined their Hydro and Pyro attacks, taking down enemies even faster.

All thirty-odd Hilichurls were slain.

The four gathered in the center.

This group's combat strength was clearly much higher, and they had coordinated well right from the start.

For all his bluster, Arataki Itto had a thoughtful side. He led the assault and drew every monster's attention, keeping Fischl safe as she provided bow support from behind.

As a member of the Adventurers' Guild, Fischl had excellent timing, despite her youth and incomprehensible way of speaking.

Xingqiu and Hu Tao worked together even better.

Hu Tao charged up powerful sweeping strikes, while Xingqiu gathered the enemies and drew their attention for her.

Just as they finished slaughtering the enemies-

Roar! A furious bellow rang out.

More than thirty corrupted Mitachurls appeared on all four sides, surrounding them with Electro and Pyro axes raised.

Xingqiu said, "Looks like we have a second round too!"

Arataki Itto rolled his shoulders. "I haven't had enough yet! Bring it on!"

He charged forward and unleashed Supreme Evil King Itto's Arrival.

"Oni King's Roaming! Out of my way!"

Fischl didn't hesitate either. "Wings of darkness, sever day from night-"

She transformed into a thunderbird, bringing lightning down across the area.

Xingqiu drew the enemies together. Hu Tao flicked her polearm up from the ground, leaped into their midst, and swept flames across them. "Eat well, drink well, and safe travels!"
