Having gotten a taste for it, Herta no longer disliked that sort of thing. Instead, she felt a little apprehensive and expectant.
Although she was still terribly shy, she could just about accept it.
After all, this was all to raise his affection. She could only go home once it was maxed out, so there was no helping it. Perfectly reasonable.
The summer night's breeze drifted gently, but the music belonging to the Spirit and the girl never reached its final rest.

Herta Miyuki, on the other hand, became increasingly radiant, her youthful, lovely face taking on a slightly different air.

Several days later, while her sister and brother-in-law were away, Herta Suzuko sneaked into their room and discovered a diary.

"July 16. Didn't go out. Kept grinding affection..."
"July 17. Slept all day. Couldn't grind anymore..."
"July 18. Why is it still at 99? It feels like it'll never max out..."
"July 21. Whatever... it doesn't matter. I'll just keep grinding affection!"
She kept turning the pages. The final few entries didn't even have dates, leaving only the word "grind."
After reading her sister Miyuki's diary, Suzuko was utterly speechless.
