Asaba Kotone had never expected the new entry on the Catalogue's thirteenth page to be the Snow Woman.
This was the first time he had unlocked a character who had never appeared in the original story.
Asaba Kotone was finding it harder and harder to figure out how the Catalogue unlocked entries. Or perhaps there were no rules at all.
In that case, he could not leave Germany just yet. He had to deal with the Snow Woman's Catalogue entry first.
After eating their fill, Asaba Kotone and Master returned to Snow Mountain.
On the way back, Asaba Kotone wondered whether he should say goodbye to Master when the time came, or simply slip away without a word.
They arrived outside the Wooden Cabin.
But Asaba Kotone stopped at the door.
"Is something wrong, Asaba...?"
Master turned back and asked.
"There's something I want to tell you, Master."
Asaba Kotone still did not want to leave without saying goodbye.
"What is it?"
"Thank you for looking after me these past few days, Master. I actually know about it. The Doll Devil is one of the devils you have contracts with, isn't she?"
Asaba Kotone said.
"...That's right. How did you figure it out?"
Master froze briefly, though her expression barely changed.
"One of the devils I have contracts with can see through other people's devil powers. That's how I noticed."
Asaba Kotone said, "Not only that, I also know exactly what abilities the Doll Devil has. For example, turning people into dolls, or even perfect dolls..."
He did not want to reveal Pingcui's ability and risk getting her caught up in this, so he made something up himself.
Hearing Asaba Kotone mention perfect dolls, Master immediately understood something.
"Asaba... do you think I would turn you into a doll?"
