"What do you mean, the Control Devil?"
Yoru Mitaka's sudden alarm left Asa Mitaka utterly confused.
"The one you just called Makima. She's my... younger sister."
Yoru Mitaka explained.
"Your younger sister? How is that possible? You're a Devil!"
Asa Mitaka's first reaction was to wonder what nonsense Yoru was talking about.
How could a human and a Devil be sisters?
"I am a Devil, yes, but you don't seriously think she's a human like you, do you?"
Yoru Mitaka said slowly.
"What do you mean? Are you saying Makima is a Devil too?"
Asa Mitaka asked in bewilderment.
"That's right. Have you heard of the Four Horsemen? She and I are both members. I suppose you could call me her older sister."
Yoru Mitaka continued explaining, "I'm the War Devil, and she's the Control Devil."
"Are you telling the truth...?"
By now, Asa Mitaka's face was filled with disbelief.
The Four Horsemen were famous, so of course she had heard of them, but she couldn't believe Makima was a Devil, let alone one of the Four Horsemen!
And the strangest part was, if Makima really was a Devil, why did she look almost no different from a human?
"I have no reason to lie to you about this. Besides, if you and I weren't effectively one now, I wouldn't even want to tell you."
