The next day.
As soon as morning classes ended, the students went to eat in the cafeteria or have the packed lunches they had prepared beforehand.
Asaba Kotone had only just stood up when he heard the voice of the Class Representative, Ankyu Fumina.
"Asaba, the Student Council president said she needs to see you. She's waiting at the door now."
Hearing this, Asaba Kotone immediately turned toward the classroom's front entrance and, sure enough, saw Kiga.
Quite a few of the other students nearby had naturally already noticed President Kiga standing at the door.
"What's the Student Council president doing here? Does she need something from Asaba?"
Besides his classmates' curiosity, Asa Mitaka was also somewhat concerned about this.
Under the gazes of Asa Mitaka and many of his classmates, Asaba Kotone walked out the door and said to Kiga, "Are you here to ask me to buy you lunch?"
"That's right."
Kiga nodded.
"Thought so... but wait a moment."
Asaba Kotone said.
With that, he went to let Makima know.
In fact, he had already told Makima last night that he had agreed to work with Kiga.
Thinking back to last night, Makima had not had much objection to the matter. Reze, on the other hand, had perceptively posed a piercing question.
"With your strength, there shouldn't be any real need for you to work with that Famine Devil, right?"
Reze narrowed her eyes slightly. "I heard that, like Makima, the Famine Devil looks like a human girl, and a beautiful one at that. Don't tell me you're trying to win her over?"
That piercing question had left Asaba Kotone a little stunned.
He really could not offer a particularly convincing rebuttal.
After all, one of his main reasons for approaching Kiga was to meet the affection requirement.
