Mysterious Power

The sudden, earth-shattering transformation left everyone inside the "maze" stunned, unable to grasp what had happened.

The staff outside the "maze" were dumbstruck too. A perfectly normal maze had suddenly turned into a devil.

Chaos swept through the amusement park, and the visitors all scrambled to escape.

The staff immediately called for help. Police and private Devil Hunters were already on their way.

As the chainsaw carved a large opening, the Maze Devil let out a harsh, chilling scream.

She stepped directly onto the shoulders of the people crowding around her and rushed back inside the Maze Devil at incredible speed.

Kobeni Higashiyama's expression was still as gloomy as ever, but now it held a coldness never seen before. Her entire body radiated killing intent, like an assassin.

She was a completely different person from her usual self, and her movements were extraordinarily agile-far beyond anything an ordinary person could manage.

Once inside the Maze Devil, she could not see Asaba Kotone anywhere. Yet Kobeni Higashiyama remained calm and immediately plunged into the maze to find him.

Facing the blades moving rapidly up and down before her, Kobeni Higashiyama kicked the first one in half and caught the broken section in her right hand, apparently intending to use it as a weapon.

Then she ran along the flesh walls, slipping swiftly and flawlessly past every blade without suffering a scratch.

Meanwhile, Asaba Kotone had already used his Intangibility to find the Maze Devil's head-or its heart.

With Intangibility, he had no need to navigate the maze or dodge the killing obstacles. He could simply walk straight through, and nothing could stop him.

"You! How did you...?!"

The Maze Devil discovered that someone had ignored the maze and all its obstacles, walking straight through to reach its heart.

It was utterly shocked. Its maze had been forcibly beaten, just like that!

No matter how it manipulated the killing obstacles or changed the maze, it could not hinder this person at all.

Without wasting a single word, Asaba Kotone attacked the Maze Devil's heart with the Chainsaw Weapon in his hands.

Realizing the danger, the Maze Devil hurried to flee. Its heart detached from the "maze" and escaped at tremendous speed.

But no matter how fast it was, it could not outrun Asaba Kotone.

"Trying to escape?"

With a single teleport, Asaba Kotone instantly caught up to the Maze Devil's heart and sawed it to death.

With its vital point destroyed, the Maze Devil died on the spot, and all the killing obstacles stopped moving.

The entire maze gradually returned to its original appearance as well.

Who could have imagined that such a playful, child-friendly maze had just been the scene of such bloody madness? The mangled bodies and bloodstains on the ground proved that it had all really happened.

At that moment, Asaba Kotone found a piece of Gun Devil Flesh inside the Maze Devil's heart. It was tiny, but the boost it had given the Maze Devil was immense.

It had suddenly appeared and turned the entire maze into its body. If Asaba Kotone had not possessed absolute speed, the Maze Devil's heart could have escaped.

That heart was probably the Maze Devil's true body. It could descend upon a maze anywhere in the world at any time, turn the maze into its body, and devour the humans inside.

Fortunately, Asaba Kotone had been here. Otherwise, the people trapped inside the "maze" would have had virtually no chance of escape. The Maze Devil could alter the "maze" however it pleased at any time, and with the killing obstacles added in, ordinary people would never have made it out.

After tossing the piece of Gun Devil Flesh into his Kamui Dimension, Asaba Kotone was about to leave when he turned around and saw Kobeni Higashiyama holding half a foam stick.

With the Maze Devil dead, the broken blade had turned back into a foam stick, making the sight oddly comical.

"Kobeni? Didn't you go outside?"

Asaba Kotone could not help asking.

But he quickly realized that the maze had only just returned to normal, yet Kobeni was already here. Clearly, she had unleashed that mysterious power.
