Akiha Tohno struggled to contain her Reversal Impulse while hearing Roland and Arcueid, then discovered Roland with Kohaku and Hisui. Roland offered to help her control the impulse, and Akiha accepted his intimate treatment as her door closed.
Roland found himself in a red-mist version of Misaki Town and reunited with Arcueid, who had defeated a horde of modified monsters. He identified their situation as a real dream caused by TATARI and concluded that Goetia and the White-Winged Duke had engineered the Variant Singularity.
Roland explained the White-Winged Duke’s plan to Arcueid, then carried her through the red mist as they flirted and exchanged blood. Their outing ended when Altrouge Brunestud found them together and confronted Roland with jealous anger.
Altrouge and Arcueid clashed after Altrouge found her drinking Roland’s blood, but Roland confirmed that he and Altrouge were master and servant and that she had drunk his blood. The sisters stopped fighting, and Arcueid became more curious about how Altrouge had grown so powerful than about their relationship.
Roland, Arcueid, and Altrouge reached the church at the heart of the Red Mist Incident and found that the Church might be involved with the White-Winged Duke. As they entered, an unseen enemy attacked them with a rotating six-barreled weapon.
Ciel attacked Roland with her modified Seventh Holy Scripture, but Arcueid and Altrouge Brunestud emerged unharmed after taking the barrage head-on. Roland confronted Ciel about the Burial Agency’s plan and learned that Kishōin Kiga had devised it.
Roland confronted Kiara Sessyoin’s role in the Church’s plan and learned that Narbareck intended to attack him and the princesses. After Altrouge struck Narbareck, an otherworldly presence split open the sky, which Roland identified as a Stand.
Narbareck used the Stomach World Scripture and six Dead Apostle principles to summon Gabriel, hoping to kill Roland and the vampires. Gabriel emerged as a Blonde Girl and ignored Narbareck, rushing into Roland’s arms.
Vam Fem waited for The Dark Six ritual to grant him the power of a new primate, while the Black and White Knight refused to join him. Just as he reached for the red radiance, Crimson Moon appeared, killed him, and asked why he did not bow after seeing the future.
Aoko Aozaki fought Blackmore as Crimson Moon’s resurrection approached and the scarlet moonlight spread across the world. After Blackmore’s apparent sacrifice, Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg arrived to answer Aoko’s pointed remarks.
Aoko Aozaki recruited Zelretch to stall ORT while she handled the battlefield, and their exchange revealed that she considered Roland her boyfriend. As the battle continued, Crimson Moon finally appeared before Roland and asked him to put down his sword and become her husband.
After Roland broke Narbareck’s mind and the Night of Wallachia dissipated, Crimson Moon revived and confronted him directly. She revealed that she seriously wanted Roland as her husband and had come to join his family rather than fight it.
Crimson Moon proposed joining Roland and his companions, but Roland refused in order to honor his promise to Altrouge Brunestud. The True Ancestor sisters attacked Crimson Moon, and she revealed her resolve to tear apart the false starry sky.
Crimson Moon explained that she was using the nascent Sixth Magic to draw other universes into a cosmic cataclysm, then sent Arcueid and Altrouge Brunestud away to face the Ultimate Ones so she could confront Roland alone. She created a second moon and sent it falling toward Earth, but Roland revealed that Killer Queen had already touched it.
After defeating Crimson Moon and taking the embryo of the Sixth Magic, Roland went to the Moon’s far side to confront Kiara Sessyoin. He found her asleep within a sea of flowers, and {Shiki} explained that Kiara had realized she should serve Roland.
Roland defeated Crimson Moon, took the embryo of the Sixth Magic, and sent her toward Arcueid and Altrouge. He found Kiara Sessyoin asleep on the Moon, where {Shiki} explained that she had realized she should serve Roland.
Roland and Root Shiki completed their union, allowing Shiki to perceive beyond her former limits. Their success awakened Pāpīyas of the Sixth Heaven, who emerged from the depths of the multiverse in a display of fury.
Roland crossed the multiversal sea and confronted Pāpīyas, who recognized him as a brother and offered to spare him and share his power. Roland refused, choosing to face Pāpīyas in battle, and ended the chapter ready to use his strength.
Roland fought Pāpīyas and discovered how the enemy’s overwhelming Immeasurable Numbers could be countered through the dimensional logic of infinity. By turning Pāpīyas’s strength against him, Roland transformed Little Garden into the Unified Seven Heavens Dragon, leaving Pāpīyas to recognize his new power.
Roland used the Key of All Spirits and the newly born spiral force to break Pāpīyas’s hold over the Tengu Path, then absorbed him and turned him into a trial for Little Garden. As Roland’s own hegemony manifested as Spiral Gospel, he began rebuilding the scarred world and preparing to create anew.
Roland reflected on the worlds he had drawn into the Spiral Gospel and trusted their inhabitants to find their own paths. As his companions gathered to welcome him back, he chose to begin the next chapter of their lives on his own terms, while new stories waited beyond the spiral.
