Chapter 1: Morning routine
8 a.m.
Having settled on a direction for his Calamity Messenger training, Luo Shu pushed open the door of his Astronomy Club and stepped into the living room, ready to head to the washroom to wash his face.
For Luo Shu, growing stronger was important, but life still had to go on.
Having just agreed to branch out and establish a department directly under Lacus Clyne, Luo Shu had already anticipated how busy the next few days would be.
Just as Luo Shu headed toward the washroom, a female voice he was not yet entirely familiar with rang out.
"Have you finished your work?"
Luo Shu turned toward the voice and immediately saw Kisara busy in the kitchen, wearing a blue apron.
In the kitchen, Kisara washed the cookware as she spoke in her sweet, slightly husky voice.
"There weren't many ingredients in the fridge, so breakfast is egg and ham sandwiches with milk. You can eat at the dining table once you've washed your face."
Seeing how practiced her movements were, Luo Shu froze for a moment before silently turning back and entering the washroom. After washing his face and brushing his teeth, he sat down at the dining table and glanced at the single serving of breakfast on it.
Having finished tidying the kitchen, Kisara sat across from Luo Shu, cupping her face in her hands as she watched him.
"Didn't you make any for yourself?" Luo Shu asked as he picked up the sandwich.
"I've already eaten." Kisara's voice was sweet, but there was a hint of mischief on her face. "I ate with Miss Mira."
