Luo Shu realized that time in the Abyss passed far faster than time in the outside world and worried that Hoshikagi Shirayuki was trapped there. Shirayuki remained in the underworld guarding Tessaiga, while Hosenki sought help from Totosai and the Western Lands’ dog demons to protect the sword.

• Luo Shu learned from Tachibana Kirika that only five minutes had passed outside during the two and a half hours he had spent in the Abyss, and he wondered why Hoshikagi Shirayuki had not escaped.
• Hoshikagi Shirayuki failed to break the underworld’s spacetime seal with her sword and told Hosenki that the Onmyoryo would not abandon its claim to Tessaiga.
