Jiang Zhu fled into the River of Time after the Copper Coffin Master briefly manifested, prompting the Strange Clan’s ten Ancestors to awaken and pursue him. Their arrival devastated countless worlds, but Jiang Zhu’s trail remained obscured, and the Ancestors feared their actions had created a new variable.
The Ten Great Ancestors severed the River of Time and sent Immortal Emperors into the sealed past to hunt Jiang Zhu. Jiang Zhu entered the Chaotic Ancient Era and arrived at Shi Hao’s battle against the Strange Immortal Emperors, where the World-Ending Elder challenged Shi Hao’s path to Immortal Emperorhood.
Shi Hao fought the World-Ending Elder and the three dark Quasi-Immortal Emperors until three Quasi-Immortal Emperors from the future arrived and joined the attack against him. As seven enemies surrounded Shi Hao, another figure resembling Great Emperor Wushi charged toward the battle with a great bell.
Jiang Zhu secretly observed the battle between Shi Hao and the Dark Quasi-Immortal Emperors, recognizing that Shi Yi, the Heavenly Horned Ant, the double-pupiled woman, and the Willow Deity had disguised themselves as figures from the future. As Shi Hao and his allies fought to keep the future attackers at bay, the Willow Deity and the Newly Ascended Gold Emperor arrived as true Immortal Emperors, and the Willow Deity pinned the fleeing Gold Emperor with a single punch.
Jiang Zhu and the Willow Deity discussed the Strange Clan’s hunt for the secret tied to the Copper Coffin Master, but seven Strange Immortal Emperors and hundreds of Quasi-Immortal Emperors soon surrounded them. Jiang Zhu refused to surrender, and the Black Emperor launched the first attack.
Jiang Zhu fought the Strange Immortal Emperors in the River of Time, while Willow Deity, Luo Tianxian, Meng Hai, Ye Fan, and the others battled the Strange Clan’s forces. Jiang Zhu destroyed Purple Emperor and severed his resurrection through the Plateau, leaving two other Immortal Emperors badly wounded and still facing him.
Jiang Zhu defeated the Strange Immortal Emperors and erased their Quasi-Immortal Emperor forces, prompting the Ten Great Ancestors to descend into the past and kill him. As they advanced toward the Chaotic Ancient Era, an unknown attacker struck the Plateau and began tearing apart the Strange race’s Ancestral Land.
The Desolate Heavenly Emperor infiltrated the Plateau and fought its seven returning Ancestors, killing one before they overwhelmed him. As the Plateau itself revealed its consciousness and restrained him, it disclosed that Desolate bore pure primordial matter and identified the eerie being tied to the Bronze Coffin as the source of the Plateau’s power.
Jiang Zhu fled three Sacrificial Dao Ancestors into an unknown Primordial Place, where he witnessed the Copper Coffin Master's past and met his shadow. The Copper Coffin Master explained that his diseased true body had burned itself away and that he had called Jiang Zhu there because he wanted to see an anomaly.
The Copper Coffin Master gave Jiang Zhu primordial matter to refine while hiding him from the three Ancestors, but the Great Sacrifice began during Jiang Zhu’s long absence. As All Worlds fell into battle and Desolate faced five Ancestors, the Pollen Emperor appeared to fight beside him.
Jiang Zhu sacrificed his ten dao fruits and entered the Sacrificial Dao Realm, then confronted the three Ancestors on the Plateau. He killed the Purple Blood Ancestor and defeated the Red Hair Ancestor and Silver Blood Ancestor, ending their existence.
Jiang Zhu and his allies defeated the Plateau’s forces, then Jiang Zhu used the Demon-Refining Pot to drain its primordial power and force it to seal itself. After restoring the fallen and reaching above Sacrificial Dao, he destroyed the Plateau, ushering in a golden age in which Chu Feng rose as its brightest star.
