"We're all compatriots fighting for the Highland Kingdom. All this fighting and killing is hardly appropriate. Anyone else against it?"
"Your Highness Suah! Your Highness Suah! The Temperance Angel has gone mad!"
"His Highness Suah said he's staying out of it! Go find Lord Baranka!"
No one knew about this upheaval taking place within the Rose School.
Beneath the night sky, the colors in one corner suddenly grew vivid. A passage to the Spirit World gradually opened, and Edward appeared on the Rose School's territory. Something flew past his eyes.
What was that? He turned his head and saw a Werewolf hanging from a distant tree, a Zombie impaled on a clock tower's hand, hanging in midair and howling as it gathered up its own intestines, Wraiths flying wildly through the sky and fleeing in all directions amid curses, a Marionette trembling in a corner, and an enormous, familiar-looking rag doll beating everyone up. He felt that the Rose School's style had become even more abstract than on his last visit.
"Your Highness Richard, stop! If you keep beating them, there'll be no one left to clear out the garrison with you!"
"That's fine. I can do it alone!" The rag doll unleashed a Wraith Shriek, and the Curse King flying overhead immediately plummeted headfirst. "Baranka, keep your subordinates in line. Don't get in my way!"
After offering Baranka that warm greeting, the rag doll surveyed the Rose School base, where cries of misery filled the air. "Any more objections?"
Edward said, "What are you doing?"
The enormous rag doll turned, gasped, and instantly ended both
