The True Creator found the part concerning the Monarch of Decay in God Almighty's memories, then cut him out of those memories and manifested him, as though cutting an entire character out of a storybook.
God Almighty's attention was not on him at the moment, so the True Creator could try to draw on the power of the Chaos Sea to the utmost.
The Outer Deity dug out of those memories remained motionless. Only after a long while did his body begin to twist and ripple. His enormous mythical creature form contracted toward its center, finally becoming the image of Edward Vaughan most familiar to the True Creator.
"..."
The Outer Deity took off his glasses and pressed his fingers against his brow, his expression contorted. There even seemed to be a trace of hatred in his voice:
"Could you stop changing your mind at the drop of a hat? I haven't encountered a business partner as troublesome as you in the last hundred thousand years. You said you wanted to work toward becoming God Almighty's dominant personality, so I came along to help. You said you wanted to fight a mental battle with God Almighty, and I bought you time several times-you know you've already been scattered once, right? Then you kept at it in a dream and nearly threw yourself away for nothing. What are you planning now?"
The True Creator said:
"Indeed. After repeated trial and error with your help, I now have a new idea."
Edward put his glasses back on, utterly unsurprised. "What?"
"Through clashing with God Almighty's mind, I realized I could never defeat him. And even if I could win a temporary victory, this dream has also told me that my humanity and love are only fleeting. Instinct and time are eternal.
