The Demon of Knowledge watched the footage shared by a certain War Camera in his head while taking a sip of the juice beside him. "What do you think Ouroboros will do? I mean, will it affect my plans?"
"That question costs extra," Edward said.
"Then pick the parts you can answer for free."
The Calamity of Destruction was probably dead indeed, and had gone anything but peacefully, but every Great Old One had inherited his spirit. His will guided everyone to curse without fear of hardship or danger. His Beyonder Characteristics seemingly drove those of non-adjacent pathways insane, but in truth, every human and god was a spiritual successor to the Calamity of Destruction.
The Demon of Knowledge looked unimpressed by this, but after some thought, he casually picked up a book beside him and handed it over. "If none of it is free, just say a few words as you see fit."
As he handed the booklet over, the bespectacled brass dragon on the fairy-tale book standing upright beside him nearly had its eyes pop out.
Edward accepted the book from the Demon of Knowledge. It was astonishingly thin, a booklet of only a dozen or so pages.
He leafed through it and discovered that it was a set of comparative annotations personally compiled by the Demon of Knowledge, covering the language commonly used on the Western Continent, simplified and traditional characters from the Old Earth Era, and some high-frequency words in the Northern Continent's Common Tongue. However, only a few hundred individual characters and words had been written so far. The meanings differed greatly between the various languages, and extensive comparisons with the Common Tongue had yet to begin. It went without saying that this fellow had most likely struck some deal with the Seven Lights
