"Ah, he took my advice and attacked Feynapotter in the end."
After leaving the God of Thunder's attack range, Edward found somewhere to stay in the Spirit World, grabbed a passing, square-shaped Spirit World creature to use as a chair, and happily settled in to watch the spectacle of "the God of Thunder's blitzkrieg against the Earth Mother."
"Not cooperating with me really is a nuisance."
Edward lamented as he watched, plucking a piece off the Spirit World creature and tossing it into his mouth as a snack:
"If he won't cooperate with me, how does he intend to deal with the people of Feynapotter? The land there really is fertile, too... I'm already sick of watching purges. Can't we have something more interesting, like internal division, mental hypnosis, and self-destruction?"
Still, the God of Thunder's attention had now been diverted. Although Edward had contributed absolutely nothing, he had indeed fulfilled the Demon of Knowledge's commission. As for whether the Demon of Knowledge was satisfied with this approach... well, preserving as much of one's own power as possible while taking every opportunity to expend other gods' power was one of the basics of surviving in the universe. The Demon of Knowledge would surely understand this development.
Beating up the Earth Mother was an excellent choice.
First, because of the Mother Goddess of Depravity's existence, she could not use her full power. Doing so would only accelerate the rate at which she was influenced.
Second was the matter related to his proposal-although Feynapotter had previously moved its entire country to the westernmost end of the Northern Continent to avoid sharing a border with Loen, after Loen incorporated small countries such as Lenburg and Segar into its territory, turning them into Segar County, Lenburg County, and other new additions to the
