A gold coin was tossed high into the air, spun several times, then landed in someone's palm.
The wandering magician lowered his head and looked at the face of the coin in his palm. His brow creased slightly before slowly smoothing out. "Hermes really was acting on His instructions, or according to His wishes... Just what is inside Groselle's Travels?"
"It must be something very important, or it wouldn't be worth asking His subordinate to fetch it for Him."
"I should go inside and take a look."
The wandering magician put away the coin and murmured, "I wish to appear wherever Hermes is."
Snap! He snapped his fingers to signal the fulfillment of his wish, but nothing happened.
The wandering magician didn't find this strange. After all, it wouldn't be surprising if the other party was taking particular precautions against him. It was normal that a wish couldn't catch Hermes directly. After thinking for a few seconds, he spoke again. "I wish to appear beside Groselle's Travels."
Snap! He snapped his fingers again. This time, the scene before him blurred for an instant, seemingly about to transport him somewhere with the power of Door. He saw a somewhat desolate stretch of weed-covered land and several enormous stone pillars a hundred meters tall, some leaning and others standing upright. But just as he was about to travel there, another force suddenly resisted him, causing the teleportation to fail. Once that momentary blur and the vivid colors faded, the wandering magician found himself still in the same place. He hadn't appeared anywhere else.
After a moment's consideration, he snapped his fingers again. This time, gray fog formed the phantom of a Kingdom of God around him, and his voice became distant, elusive, and full of majesty:
