Fall of Jin and reincarnation

Sitting Mountain Guest was originally the God King of Jin. The Food Country’s three rulers destroyed his country and killed his wife, leaving revenge as the obsession that drove his reincarnation. He escaped to the Primal Universe through the Jin King Palace, sealing the Star Tower and Lie Yuan Technique within its innermost core before reincarnating 182 222.

Early in the current Reincarnation Era, he cultivated without bottlenecks and spent much of his time gathering resources and observing the evolution of life. He sought an environment capable of producing a disciple who could inherit his artifact-refining legacy and eventually avenge Jin. During his travels, he briefly guided the young Zerg Queen 206.

He also created Earth. His disciple-selection plan required a prospective third disciple to claim the Star Tower; only that successful candidate could reclaim the Tribulation Armor entrusted to Yan Emperor 173 198.

Attack on Hu Yanbo and rescue

Sitting Mountain Guest joined Void True Demon God and Island Master Shihua in an operation to suppress Hu Yanbo on Primal Star 666. The participants wanted to uncover the secret behind Hu Yanbo’s rapid growth. As Sitting Mountain Guest deployed a small tower to capture him, chains formed from the ten Origin Laws appeared and began dragging Sitting Mountain Guest into the void 175.

Unable to escape, he pleaded with Hu Yanbo and promised benefits in exchange for rescue. Hu Yanbo persuaded the Will of the Original Universe to release him, arguing that he would be useful in resolving its coming crisis. The Will entrusted him to Hu Yanbo and instructed Hu Yanbo to take him away upon departure 177 178.

The incident transformed his priorities. He began to suspect that Hu Yanbo was connected to the Supreme Rule or might be an incarnation of the Life Origin. Securing Hu Yanbo’s friendship displaced his original third-disciple cultivation plan as his foremost concern 178.

Hongmeng Alliance and Universe Ocean

Sitting Mountain Guest joined the Hongmeng Alliance as another of its leaders. The inheritances he supplied through Hu Yanbo included guidance on becoming a Universe Strongest, systematic talent cultivation, and a Divine Power Burning Secret Technique that strengthened the human leadership 180 181.

He subsequently acted as Hu Yanbo’s teacher, equipment supplier, and concealed combat support. He created custom True God secret techniques, provided accelerated cultivation, and supplied the Blood Cloud Palace Master identity for Hu Yanbo’s Universe Ocean travels 182 183 184.

Disguised as Gray Mist True God, he subdued Rampaging Demon God and compelled him to guard Hu Yanbo’s cultivating clone. He also joined Giant Axe Founder in killing Mechanical Race Father God within Tilted Peak Realm 190 194 201.

Luo Feng’s inheritance

Following Hu Yanbo’s recommendation, Sitting Mountain Guest watched Luo Feng attempt the Star Tower’s master-recognition process. Luo Feng endured more than six thousand years of torment and succeeded, astonishing both Sitting Mountain Guest and Puti 198.

Sitting Mountain Guest accepted Luo Feng as his third disciple and later gave him the recovered Tribulation Armor. He arranged a trial with the Starry Sky Progenitor, staked a Peak Supreme Treasure on Luo Feng’s success, and passed the resulting treasure-set winnings to his disciple 199 201.

As the prospect of vengeance became more secure, he devoted greater attention to his disciples’ futures. He regarded Luo Feng as his most satisfactory successor and sincerely hoped that Luo Feng would surpass the heights of his previous life 232.

Return to the Origin Continent

After Hu Yanbo resolved the World Beast Crisis, Sitting Mountain Guest remained with Marquis Xuanhuang Mo Lin for a time. Hu Yanbo’s achievements eventually exceeded even his theories about an incarnation of the Original Universe’s Will, and he stopped trying to explain Hu Yanbo’s origins 232.

Nine million epochs later, he departed for the Origin Continent with Hu Yanbo and Original Ancestor. Before leaving, he transferred the Lie Yuan Technique inheritance into Luo Feng’s Star Tower and advised Luo Feng to obtain Hu Yanbo’s “Illuminate the Universe” opportunity before attempting it. His former Miniature Universe subsequently collapsed as part of his own arrangements 233 234.

After reincarnating on the Origin Continent and reaching Chaos Realm, he learned of Hu Yanbo’s achievements as Great Sage Xiao Feng. Determined not to fall too far behind, he chose to pursue the dangerous Hunyuan bloodline path of the Thunder Ancient Kingdom 239.

His vengeance was ultimately fulfilled by Hu Yanbo, who killed Kingdom Lord Sky Kun and five gathered God Kings. Luo Feng delivered the news and proposed that they share a drink to celebrate 266.

Before attacking Hu Yanbo, he prided himself on knowing which boundaries would provoke the Original Universe’s Will and had avoided giving it grounds to suppress him 178 188 190.

His desire for vengeance overrides his pride as a former God King. He treats Hu Yanbo with unusual courtesy and willingly serves as a concealed fighter because he believes their growing bond increases the chance that Hu Yanbo will avenge Jin. Hu Yanbo’s willingness to accept the Wu Kingdom’s blood debt moves him so deeply that his hands begin trembling 182 190 215.

His apparently hands-off teaching conceals extensive preparation. The Starry Sky Progenitor recognizes how much effort he invests behind the scenes in Luo Feng’s training, resources, and life genes. Once revenge appears attainable, his concern increasingly turns toward helping his disciples flourish for their own sake 201 232.
