Steenee took a closer look. Those three enormous Pokémon turned out to be three Blastoise.
Facing them were two people dressed in very strange outfits.
"Ah-ma!" Steenee cried out, hastily ducking behind a rock. Smoliv and the Celebi quickly hid as well.
"La-wah?" The two Celebi had expected Steenee to charge straight into the battle. For some reason, she seemed to have gotten much smarter.
The Lopunny and Buneary scattered into the grass in fright, leaving only pairs of nervous eyes peeking out.
One of the two people wore a brown coat, while the other was covered from head to toe in a black bodysuit.
The person in the tight-fitting Combat Suit blocked a Blastoise's Hydro Pump with just one hand, and even seemed to be handling it with ease.
"Looks like the intel was right. Those people really did conduct some kind of experiment here. Emma, calm them down."
"Emma, calm them down."
"Understood."
Clad in her Combat Suit, Emma rushed in front of the three Blastoise at incredible speed. She already possessed astonishing physical strength, and after putting on this Combat Suit developed by Team Flare, Looker had even dubbed her a "Humanoid Pokémon."
"Go to sleep."
Emma threw a punch, striking a Blastoise in the belly with Short Power!
The tremendous force sent a shock wave rampaging through the Blastoise's body!
"Kame!" The Blastoise's bloodshot eyes flickered, and its enormous body shuddered violently, as though the frenzied energy inside it had momentarily stalled under that punch.
Seeing this, the other two Blastoise became even more violent and fired Hydro Pumps at Emma!
At the sight, the other two Blastoise blasted Hydro Pumps at Emma even more wildly!
But Emma moved astonishingly fast!
