Several Combee looked at one another, forming a question mark around Tong Hua, as though they had never expected him to suggest this solution.
"How about I take you there for a look first?
The cave isn't far from here. It's right beside the Orchard."
On Tong Hua's second day after arriving in this world, the old village chief, Jack, had taken him around to see all the facilities on the ranch.
There was indeed a hidden cave beside the Orchard. It had once been used to grow mushrooms, but after being abandoned, it had become an ordinary cave.
Tong Hua had checked it before. There weren't any wild Pokémon inside. Once they cleared away the growth blocking the entrance and tidied up the interior, it should make a suitable home for Vespiquen and the Combee.
"Bzz."
The Combee agreed, so Tong Hua led them toward the cave.
Grotle and Minccino followed behind Tong Hua, with Bounsweet and Orthworm coming along too.
On the way, Tong Hua met up with Hayato. After hearing a brief explanation, Hayato joined him on the walk to the cave.
"So, are these all the Pokémon you have now?"
Hayato looked over the Pokémon accompanying Tong Hua. He had already met Grotle and Minccino.
Now there were Bounsweet, Orthworm, and the Combee before him, along with Miltank, who was sleeping in the Pokémon Cottage.
"You've got quite a variety. Looks like you're pretty ambitious."
"Of course. I'm going to build up the Fairy Tale Ranch. One day, it'll be a hundred times livelier than it is now."
Hayato glanced at Tong Hua. His expression was assured, full of confidence in the future he envisioned.
"I wish you success."
Before long, they arrived at the cave beside the Orchard.
