Background

Dai Huabin grew up as the White Tiger Duke’s second legitimate son, surrounded by attendants and admirers. His elder brother, Dai Yueheng, was raised as the family’s heir, while Huabin was betrothed to the Netherworld Zhu Family because of his compatibility with Zhu Lu. Dai Hao spent much of his time guarding the frontier, leaving Huabin’s upbringing largely within the Duke’s Mansion 5 7 9.

His privileged childhood ended in humiliation at Shrek Academy, where he lost to Huo Yuhao during the freshman assessment. Nevertheless, his demonstration of the Martial Soul Fusion Skill Hell White Tiger earned him core disciple status. Zhou Yi subsequently expelled him from her class—not from the academy—and he continued studying in Mu Jin’s Class Two 5 10 17 47.

Personality

Initially overbearing, prideful, and easily provoked, Dai Huabin treats defeat as an affront to his family standing. His loss to Huo Yuhao becomes an obsession: he curses him while training and drinking, rejects Dai Yueheng’s advice, and repeatedly dismisses study companions. Both Dai Yueheng and Xiao Zi attribute much of his behavior to a spoiled upbringing rather than an inherently bad nature 5 6 7.

The Enslavement Soul Seal makes his loyalty to Xiao Zi absolute, but does not erase his ordinary habits. When left without instructions, he continues frequenting pleasure houses. Much of his later public behavior—including apparent anger at Xiao Zi, disputes with teammates, and friendliness toward selected classmates—is directed by his master 9 18 38 50 151.
