Yet in this world, even lineages as glorious as those of Heaven's many Dao Ancestors could not achieve true eternal immortality and splendor through all ages, much less a mere Heavenly Venerable lineage in the present Nine Heavens and Ten Lands.
No matter how heaven-reaching the Wuliang Holy Land's backing or how deep its reserves, over these years, this sole True Immortal lineage of the present age had grown increasingly quiet, seemingly intent on diminishing its own presence.
There were three reasons for this.
First, although the Wuliang Holy Land was the inherited lineage of the present Dao Ancestor, Immeasurable Heaven Venerable He Mu, nearly seven hundred thousand years had passed for this sect since the Mythological Era. Naturally, its disciples had undergone many changes of generation.

Some even believed that the Wuliang Holy Land merely held the rightful title of the Dao Ancestor's direct lineage, while its actual ties to the Undying Mountain were far from close. The fact that they had never received any preferential treatment in the Spirit Realm was clear proof of this.
Second, as claims that "the Wuliang Holy Land is not close to the Dao Ancestor" began to spread over the years, a hidden worry gradually arose among the Holy Land's higher ranks: perhaps the Heavenly Venerable patriarch truly no longer valued these disciples of his lineage?
In their eyes, the talk outside had indeed not arisen out of thin air. They themselves had some relevant clues.
For instance, in the Holy Land's ancient records, an ancestor of extremely senior standing had once
