Three Thousand Dao Provinces, Heavenly Immortal Academy.
A speck of spiritual light descended from Above the Nine Heavens, disregarding the Heavenly Immortal Academy's many restrictions entirely as it traveled straight into the academy's deepest reaches and arrived before Shi Hao and the others.
At the sight, Shi Hao knew that this must be a message from his master, who had traveled far away.
He reached out at once to take the speck of spiritual light, intending to trigger the message carried within.
The reason Shi Hao could be so certain that this speck of spiritual light was a message from He Mu was that, in the past, to make it easier to contemplate the Dao within the academy, He Mu had personally laid down a great formation around the small courtyard they now occupied, separating it from the outside world.
By now, Shi Hao and the others had consulted ancient texts and histories and knew very well what sort of figure the Lord of Immeasurable Heaven was. He was not the True Immortal they had initially imagined, but an even more terrifying existence-a king of the Immortal Dao, one of the legendary rulers of heaven and earth in the previous epoch!
Even casually deployed means from such a figure far exceeded the limits of the present age. Absolutely no one could break through them with such effortless ease.
And now, since this speck of spiritual light had not triggered a counterattack from the formation, that meant it must be his master's handiwork, or at the very least, intimately connected to him.
Sure enough, the instant Shi Hao reached out, the speck of spiritual light sensed his aura and activated on its own. A flood of information vast enough to be called boundless plunged directly into Shi Hao's Sea of Consciousness.
