Ch. 41The Farce Ends, They Finally Meet

Lingbao Heavenly Venerable awoke from his long slumber but nearly exhausted himself, leaving He Mu to restore his strength. After fully reviving, Lingbao met He Mu, who introduced himself as Wuliang.

  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable awoke and unleashed a burst of sword qi, then weakened until he was trapped inside the Immortal Coffin.
  • He Mu drew in chaos qi, refined it into the origin power of the Great Dao, and replenished Lingbao Heavenly Venerable.
  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable recovered, absorbed the life essence of the Immortal Coffin, and swallowed eight colossal dragons of chaos to restore his strength.
  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable returned to the Chaos Dragon Nest and thanked He Mu, who introduced himself as Wuliang.

Ch. 42Origins

Lingbao Heavenly Venerable told He Mu how a disciple’s betrayal and the black qi left him gravely wounded and sealed away. He Mu left him White Tiger Divine Medicine, expecting Lingbao’s recovery to bring a reckoning soon.

  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable thanked He Mu for saving his life, and He Mu asked how he had fallen into such a desperate state.
  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable recounted how he slew the Spiritually Awakened Immortal Corpse, suffered a great dao wound, and sealed the black qi he could not extract.
  • A thousand years later, Lingbao Heavenly Venerable’s disciple was beguiled by the black qi and joined a Forbidden Zone Supreme in sabotaging the Immortal Platform Grand Formation and attacking him.
  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable defeated the attackers, protected his surviving disciples, hid his secret realms, and sealed himself inside the Chaos Dragon Nest.
  • He Mu left Lingbao Heavenly Venerable some essence of the White Tiger Divine Medicine and departed, anticipating a reckoning once Lingbao restored his Dao Fruit.

Ch. 43Preparations

After a thousand years of secluded cultivation, He Mu prepared to join forces with the recovered Lingbao Heavenly Venerable against Black Qi and the Forbidden Zones, while keeping Lingbao’s return secret. He went to find Longevity Heavenly Venerable, but discovered that Longevity and his immortal source had vanished from the Northern Sea.

  • He Mu spent a thousand years cultivating in the Undying Mountain while his Divine Self Body managed affairs in Faith Divine Heaven.
  • Lingbao Heavenly Venerable repaired his Dao Fruit in hiding, and he and He Mu planned to conceal his return so they could lure Black Qi into a trap.
  • He Mu decided Longevity Heavenly Venerable had to choose a side before the coming battle.
  • He Mu traveled to the Northern Sea on Ziwei Ancient Star and found that the region’s life-giving Dao power had nearly disappeared.
  • He Mu discovered that Longevity Heavenly Venerable and the immortal source where he had sealed himself were gone, then headed toward Faith Divine Heaven.

Ch. 44Changsheng's Whereabouts

He Mu used Faith Divine Heaven to trace Longevity Heavenly Venerable's movements and discovered that Changsheng had entered the Underworld and become one of its rulers. He decided to visit the Underworld later, but first began guiding Pan's cultivation.

  • He Mu arrived at Faith Divine Heaven, where Pan welcomed him, and said he would investigate Changsheng and guide Pan's cultivation.
  • He Mu merged with Faith Divine Heaven and used its power of faith to examine Longevity Heavenly Venerable's movements over the past thousand years.
  • He Mu saw that Longevity Heavenly Venerable prepared for three hundred years after He Mu's departure, then traveled to the Underworld without causing turmoil elsewhere.
  • He Mu concluded that Changsheng had become one of the Underworld's rulers and decided to visit him later to assess his intentions.
  • He Mu summoned Pan and began expounding the Dao to guide his cultivation.

Ch. 45Arrangements, the Underworld

He Mu spent 108 days teaching Pan the Great Dao and arranged for him to cultivate in seclusion until a future age. He then set out for the Underworld to assess Longevity Heavenly Venerable’s condition and decide what to do next.

  • He Mu explained the Great Dao to Pan, whose immense strength and independent Dao Fruit were constrained by the Wuliang Great Dao and the power of faith.
  • He Mu planned for Pan to build his foundations, be sealed until a later age, and eventually pursue the Red Dust Immortal Path.
  • After teaching Pan for 108 days, He Mu sealed Faith Divine Heaven and left instructions for Pan to find after emerging from seclusion.
  • He Mu traveled openly to the Underworld on a golden Divine Bridge to inspect Longevity Heavenly Venerable’s true condition.

Ch. 46The Underworld

He Mu entered the Underworld to learn whether Changsheng was truly in seclusion and met Zhuanlun, the supreme in charge. Zhuanlun said Changsheng could not receive visitors, but He Mu accepted his invitation to the hall and followed him deeper into the Netherland.

  • He Mu descended into the Underworld and used his Heavenly Venerable might to awaken one of its supremes.
  • Zhuanlun appeared and asked why He Mu had disturbed the Netherland.
  • He Mu introduced himself as Wuliang, the Contemporary Dao Attainer, and asked to speak with Changsheng.
  • Zhuanlun said Changsheng had entered seclusion three hundred years earlier and could not receive visitors.
  • He Mu accepted Zhuanlun's invitation to the hall, and the two traveled together into the Netherland.

Ch. 47Lunzhuan Supreme

He Mu visited the Underworld and learned that Longevity Heavenly Venerable was in deep seclusion in Changsheng Hall, leaving him with no immediate reason for concern. After speaking with Lunzhuan Supreme and learning more about ancient history, He Mu left to carry out plans he and Lingbao Heavenly Venerable had made.

  • Lunzhuan Supreme told He Mu that Longevity Heavenly Venerable had been secluded in Changsheng Hall for three hundred years and might not awaken for tens of thousands of years.
  • He Mu examined Changsheng Hall and concluded that Longevity Heavenly Venerable had settled in the Underworld for the long term.
  • He Mu learned about Lunzhuan Supreme's history, his reverence for Netherworld Venerable, and his quiet rule over the Underworld.
  • He Mu and Lunzhuan Supreme exchanged stories and historical secrets before He Mu bade him farewell.
  • Lunzhuan Supreme returned to slumber, and He Mu left the Underworld, sent information to Chaos, concealed his traces, and headed into the Universe to enact his plans with Lingbao Heavenly Venerable.

Ch. 48The Jade Roaming Palace

On Heavenly Passage Ancient Star, the weakened Jade Roaming Palace faced unpaid tribute and threats from rivals after its old leader died, leaving its young leader alone. As the young Daoist mourned and searched for a way to save the sect, He Mu arrived at the palace gates.

  • The chapter described Heavenly Passage Ancient Star’s decline from a once-glorious cultivation world and outlined the competing accounts of how its power had vanished.
  • The Jade Roaming Palace was revealed to be a small sect on Golden Tortoise Island whose remaining disciples had dwindled to an old Daoist and a young Daoist.
  • The old Daoist died after failing to break through from the other shore realm into dao palace, leaving the young Daoist to inherit the sect’s leadership.
  • The young Daoist faced tribute obligations without resources and pressure from other lineages seeking the Jade Roaming Palace’s inheritance.
  • While the young Daoist sat before the old Daoist’s memorial tablet, He Mu announced himself outside the gates and said he had come to visit.

Ch. 49The Small World

He Mu visited the Jade Roaming Palace and discovered that Wenxin was its sole surviving disciple. After searching Heavenly Passage Ancient Star, He Mu found the hidden small world where Lingbao Heavenly Venerable’s disciples had been sealed and took Wenxin there.

  • Wenxin opened the Jade Roaming Palace’s gates and greeted He Mu, who claimed an old friendship with one of the palace’s former masters.
  • Wenxin told He Mu that his master had died two months earlier and that he was the palace’s only remaining member.
  • He Mu revealed that he had come for Wenxin’s lineage, then released his immense aura and shielded the young Daoist with immortal light.
  • He Mu swept Heavenly Passage Ancient Star with his divine sense and located a small world marked by traces of Nine Secrets: Zu.
  • He Mu gathered Wenxin and stepped through the broken void barrier into the small world.

Ch. 50Golden Spirit Holy Mother

He Mu entered Lingbao’s small world with Wenxin and faced Golden Spirit Holy Mother, who led the formation protecting the Jade Roaming Palace. After He Mu identified himself as Wuliang and tested her with a strike, he sent her flying and left the grand formation close to collapse.

  • He Mu and Wenxin entered the small world, activating its grand formation and awakening Lingbao’s disciples and Quasi-Venerables.
  • Golden Spirit Holy Mother emerged and challenged He Mu, asking whether he came from a Forbidden Zone and what business he had at the Jade Roaming Palace.
  • He Mu introduced himself as the contemporary Dao Attainer Wuliang and said he had come to observe the small world and learn Lingbao’s Dao.
  • Golden Spirit Holy Mother refused to receive He Mu and told him to leave, so he threatened to punish the Lingbao Lineage and pressed down on its formation.
  • Golden Spirit Holy Mother drew power from the fused sun and moon and attacked He Mu’s palm, but he sent her flying and nearly broke the grand formation.
