Not a single student at the school gates recognized Porygon.
Never mind the students-even the teachers at Pokémon High School probably wouldn't recognize her. Shen Qi figured the Security Bureau would have to introduce her to them in detail.
An artificial Pokémon made to explore space was far beyond the understanding of people living on a remote island.
"Why don't you go up and try interacting with that Pokémon?"
"You go... I'm scared. That doesn't look like an ordinary Pokémon."
Indeed, Porygon's appearance was vastly different from most of the animal- and plant-like Pokémon at Pokémon High School. For the moment, nobody dared try approaching her.
It was the first day of the new semester, and the students had little time. They only lingered briefly before hurrying away.
Porygon felt a little disappointed, but when she saw Shen Qi chasing after her, her eyes lit up again.

Unfamiliar with the layout of Pokémon High School, Porygon rounded a corner to find her path blocked by a flower bed's fence and the building.
There was nowhere left to run!
