As things stood, setting Teleport's save point at Natural Camp seemed more appropriate.
"Shen Qi, what do you think?"
"It's fantastic. Absolutely beautiful."
With its scattered flecks of colorful minerals showing through, the great waterfall truly deserved the name "Meteor Falls." They could even call it a "river of stars."
Lisia unwrapped a grain bar and took a bite. "Every time I come here, Meteor Falls gives me a different experience."
During their brief rest, Shen Qi recalled what No. 1 Great Waterfall looked like.
"Lisia, where would we end up if we used Waterfall to climb No. 1 Great Waterfall?"
"At the water outlet up above."
On the game map, they had to use Waterfall twice to reach the upper level of Meteor Falls, then climb down a metal ladder to reach the deepest room.
But that room in the depths wasn't where the Draconids lived. It only held the Technical Machine for Dragon Claw, and rare wild Pokémon could be encountered there.
Meteor Village didn't exist in the game.
"Are there... ladders made of iron pipes in Meteor Falls?"
"Huh?" Lisia stopped eating. "You're dreaming. It's already nice enough that explorers leave ropes here for people who need them. Who would build ladders inside Meteor Falls, let alone iron ones?"
"True."
"Do you have something in mind...? I keep feeling like you're looking for something."
"Well, Dodo did some electronic fortune-telling and said there was something incredible deep inside Meteor Falls."
"Gooji!?"
"I see." At first, Lisia hadn't cared at all about the so-called electronic fortune-telling. She had only wanted to come and look at the Ritual Script.
But once she arrived and examined it, she found that the lettering displayed an exceptionally profound degree of sophistication, clearly inherited from an orthodox tradition of ancient Hoenn ritual culture.
