If... if I became the principal of Pokémon High School... wouldn't that also...

Shen Qi shook his head hard, driving the terrible thought away.

At this rate, he wouldn't even be able to have a normal romance in the Pokémon world.

"Shen Qi?"

"Nothing. Today's lineup is pretty strong. I'm so nervous I've got goose bumps."

"Hahaha, what have you got to be nervous about? You came on Little Sheep. If you lose, you lose."

Lao Fu introduced Wen Jiu's toy car. It wasn't made by any of the usual large companies or conglomerates, but developed by their own Pokémon Paradise.

The toy car was parked in a distant Service Bay, so its appearance was hard to make out. Lao Fu described it as looking like it had been assembled from colorful building blocks, full of amusement-park and cartoon flair.

As for the competitor's class, Lao Fu had asked around.

Wen Jiu was a T3-class driver and a T3-class Pokémon Trainer.

"As the director of Pokémon Paradise, he focuses most of his energy on developing the park and enjoying life. He's actually pretty casual about competitive events. He enters when he's free and doesn't sign up when he's busy."

"Dual T3 certification is already a pretty impressive standard."

If Pokémon High School produced a driver and professional Pokémon Trainer with T3 certification, they would probably brag about it endlessly.

There was no qualifying session before a Regular Race. Starting positions were determined directly by drawing lots.

Shen Qi was in Service Bay 9, which meant he would start ninth.

When the commentator mentioned him during the race, they could call him competitor Shen Qi, Little Sheep, or Driver 9.

Regardless of what place Shen Qi was in at the time, Driver 9 would be his number for this race.
