Shen Qi held the fruit crepe in his hand. Lilligant rose onto her tiptoes and took another bite.
The juice bursting from the fruit mingled with the crisp pastry in her mouth, creating a wonderfully sweet sensation with distinct layers.
Crunch, crunch.
Just like that, Lilligant finished the crepe Shen Qi was holding, one bite at a time.
"Uh, if you were going to eat the whole thing, why didn't you hold it yourself?"

The draw for the second round of the Pokémon rules T2 Race had already ended, but the nearby streets were still as lively as ever.
Even with a race the next day, the Pokémon still came out to make merry and set up stalls to share food.
Shen Qi made a special trip to the neighborhood where the Pokémon Trainer drivers stayed. Just as he remembered, most were taking simple walks, servicing their race cars, or resting their bodies and minds.
By contrast, the Pokémon Racing Drivers were so boisterous... they hardly seemed to be here for a race. They had simply come to Oldale Town to have fun.
Lilligant went to look at women's accessories. Naturally, the thoroughly respectable Shen Qi couldn't follow her, so he took Dodo shopping in another direction.

Something like a tender leaf touched his arm. Shen Qi turned and looked down to find a Lilligant.
She wasn't his Lilligant. She was a size smaller.

"Oh, Ivy's driver, the one who came first yesterday!"
The little Lilligant placed both hands over her lower abdomen and bowed slightly in a very polite greeting.
Then she turned and ran off, all the way to an alley entrance at a fork in the road. Her figure vanished, then a leaf-blade
