After Shrek won the tournament, Ye Qing repaid his debts to the academy by healing Mu En and then left to pursue his own plans. He secured rare resources in the Star Dou Great Forest and traveled to the former Sea God Island, where he attacked Xiao Bai and prepared to turn her into a powerful puppet.

• Ye Qing defeated Ma Rulong’s seven-person Sword of Judgment attack by absorbing its darkness with his ultimate light, and the Sun Moon Team conceded the semifinal.
• Shrek won the tournament after Star Luo conceded, and Ye Qing received soul bones before giving Ye Feng two of them and beginning Mu En’s treatment.
• Ye Qing purified Mu En’s Dragon Core Baleful Qi and restored his body with life essence, extending his life by roughly a dozen years, then accepted Mu En’s Dragon Core and left Shrek.
• At the Star Dou Great Forest, Ye Qing arranged protection for the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and recovered the Gold of Life from the Golden Hawksbill Turtle, preserving the turtle for later decisions about its Soul Ring and Soul Bone.
• Ye Qing obtained a ninety-seven-thousand-year-old Earth-Splitting Saber-Toothed Tiger Torso Bone for Ye Feng and set out to find Xiao Bai and the Demon Soul Great White Shark Clan.
• Ye Qing reached the former Sea God Island, built an Ice and Snow Palace, and waited while he and Electrolux gathered large quantities of Deep Sea Sinking Silver.
• When Xiao Bai returned and demanded that Ye Qing destroy the palace and kneel, he challenged her and pierced her abdomen with the Eternal Spear.
• Ye Qing said he would use Xiao Bai to make a Demon Soul Bone Shark King, but stopped her when she reversed her Soul Core to self-destruct.

Ye Qing absorbed Xiao Bai’s power, built the Demon Soul Bone Shark King, and entered the Holy Spirit Cult as its Grand Supreme Elder while claiming to serve Asura God. He then studied the Sun Moon Empire’s Core Arrays and began developing Soul Armor, ending with a new Spirit Forging technique in hand.

• Ye Qing killed Xiao Bai and the Demon Soul Great White Shark Clan, spared Dong Qianqiu, then turned her into his Chángguǐ by feeding her the clan’s souls.
• Ye Qing absorbed Xiao Bai’s Soul Ring and Soul Bone, broke through to Soul Saint, and worked with Electrolux to complete the Demon Soul Bone Shark King with Dong Qianqiu as its primary soul.
• Ye Qing returned to Sea God Island, reunited with Qing Xi, and traveled to the Sun Moon Empire as Evil Nightmare Douluo before confronting Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao.
• Ye Qing killed Mask Douluo to avenge his supposed family, then agreed to join the Holy Spirit Cult temporarily as its Grand Supreme Elder.
• Ye Qing told the Holy Spirit Cult that Asura God was its Holy Emperor and urged its members to spread his worship, presenting Tang San as the god’s successor and Tang Ya as the Blue Silver Saintess.
• Ye Qing asked Long Xiaoyao to arrange secret access to the Sun Moon Empire’s Soul Tool knowledge, then studied Core Arrays and connected their patterns to Soul Rings and Soul Skills.
• Ye Qing and Electrolux concluded that Core Arrays could be engraved on spirit alloy to create Soul Armor, and Ye Qing studied the technology for three years while reaching Level 7 Soul Engineer.
• Electrolux gave Ye Qing a Spirit Forging technique that combined Sacred Demon Continent artifact forging with the Spirit Forging Method, and Ye Qing prepared to test it.

Ye Qing killed the Sea Princess, rose to Level 87, and turned her remains into the powerful Lich Empress Lilith. He revealed a supposed divine inheritance at Shrek, joined the Sea God Pavilion, and prepared to host Sea God's Fate while considering how to enter the tournament himself.

• Ye Qing returned to the Holy Spirit Cult, guided Zhongli Wu in cultivating Tang Ya, and gave him the Asura Judgment Codex to spread the Asura God's name.
• The Holy Spirit Cult staged attacks across the continent and circulated accusations against Tang San, while Shrek and the empires hunted the cult and its loyalists murdered steadfast believers.
• Ye Qing trapped and killed the Sea Princess, absorbed her soul ring and soul bone, and reached Level 87 with eight blood-red soul rings.
• Ye Qing and Electrolux used the Mermaid Clan's remains to create Lilith, and Ye Qing gave Electrolux half his Gold of Life before returning to Shrek.
• Ye Qing told Mu En, Xuan Zi, and Ye Feng that he would inherit the God of Sacred Light, showed them his divine mark, and joined the Sea God Pavilion.
• Ye Qing gave Zhang Lexuan Liya's Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring and Left Arm Bone, helping her reach Level 86 and advance toward becoming a Titled Douluo.
• Ye Qing and Zhang Lexuan agreed to host Sea God's Fate, and Ye Qing learned he could see the contestants' names before the event.
• Ye Qing registered participants for Sea God's Fate, encountered Ma Xiaotao and Ling Luochе, and planned to visit the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well for a heavenly treasure.

Ye Qing became a god, exploited the war between the Sun Moon Empire and the allied kingdoms, and gathered faith while Tang San’s Sea God Godhood collapsed. The arc ended as Ye Qing demanded the Sun Moon Empire’s surrender and its forces charged his Divine Clone.

• Ye Qing rejected Wang Dong’er’s gratitude and grew wary that Tang San was using her to bind him to his plans.
• Ye Qing and Electrolux agreed to oppose the Divine Realm, while Gu Yuena secretly decided to join them and Ye Qing set out to strengthen himself.
• At Sea God’s Fate, Ye Qing and Zhang Lexuan defeated the challengers, after which Ye Qing left Shrek and absorbed the power of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• Gu Yuena offered Ye Qing her support and Di Tian’s sacrifice, allowing Ye Qing to reach Level 100 and form a space-time Soul Core.
• The Mingdu Blitz Plan ended in disaster as the Sun Moon Empire ambushed the allied Titled Douluos, and Xuan Zi and Du Busi destroyed much of Mingdu in their final attack.
• Ye Qing appeared before the defeated allied army, promised the three empires the Sun Moon Empire’s territory, and demanded that they spread faith in the God of Sacred Light.
• As the empires replaced worship of Tang San with faith in Ye Qing, Tang San lost his Sea God Godhood and vowed to prepare for a future conquest of the Douluo Continent.
• Ye Qing demanded the Sun Moon Empire surrender, but Xu Tianyuan refused and led its forces in a charge against Ye Qing’s Divine Clone.
