"Huh?"
But she soon noticed something, and the way she looked at Yun Ying changed.
"Hahaha, Qixia, we can discuss this later. I'll have a surprise for you all," Heavenly God Huayang said with a laugh. He knew Qixia had noticed as well.
With that, he led Yun Ying and Yun Xi straight out of there.
True God Qixia watched the three leave, a sharp gleam flashing through her eyes. She knew Heavenly God Huayang very well. He was the clan's most senior and strongest Heavenly God. Anyone he valued so highly had to be extraordinary.
Unfortunately, their time together had been too brief for her to discern anything. She could only wait until Heavenly God Huayang returned.
Then she turned to the others with a kindly smile. "Come with me. The clan has already arranged your lodgings."
And so, Yun Canghai and the others were settled in a group of palaces, with Divine Fire Realm experts staying behind to help them mend their dao deficiencies.
Meanwhile, Heavenly God Huayang brought Yun Ying and Yun Xi deep into Heaven's City. Formations covered this place, and special token plaques were needed to open them before anyone could proceed farther. Otherwise, entering was out of the question.
After passing through layer upon layer of formations, the three arrived before a brilliantly golden Divine Pool.
The crystalline water resembled liquid gold and jade nectar. Fragrance filled the air, and clouds of radiant mist rose from it. The Divine Pool held primordial essence, while the aura of the immortal Dao suffused its surroundings.
"This Divine Pool has been passed down since the primordial age. It is one of the Celestial Clan's most important foundations and contains boundless divine Dao essence. Under our clan's care, its supply has remained unending and has never run dry."
