In an instant, a miniature sun seemed to rise inside the study. Countless blazing flames erupted, bursting with dazzling light.
"Aaaah!!!"
All the Mileses grimaced in pain.
An invisible shock wave swept out, accompanied by an unbroken series of sharp crashes. Mirrors large and small shattered one after another throughout the room, scattering fragments everywhere.
Now only one Miles remained in the study.
His scarlet eyes widened, and he snarled in a low voice, his face full of venom:
"How dare you hurt me!
"I'll kill you!"
Before his words had faded, countless mirror fragments rose into the air. Under Miles's icy gaze, they shot toward Lorry like a swarm of blades.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
The dense whistling through the air sounded like a prelude to death.
The half-open door did not last even a second before the relentless stream of mirror fragments pierced it, leaving hole after hole.
Their momentum undiminished, they continued toward Lorry.
Danger!
Without any warning from his spirituality, Lorry had already sensed the bone-chilling killing intent. Just as he prepared to dodge, Miles suddenly opened his mouth wide inside the study.

This soundless shriek seemed to ring out directly in the depths of his soul!
Lorry's head immediately felt as though it would split apart, as if countless steel needles were stirring forcefully through the depths of his brain. The pain left him shaking like a leaf, his entire body drenched in cold sweat.
In this condition, never mind dodging-he could barely stay on his feet!
The mirror fragments were almost upon him.
At that critical moment, warmth surged from Lorry's chest and quickly entered his mind, sending out ripples of white light.
This was the Holy amulet taking effect!
The holy light blocked Miles's soul shriek like a barrier!
The agony abruptly vanished.
