Thunder God arrives during Hong’s confrontation with Li Xin over Atkin’s death and asks to fight first. Hong refuses, and Thunder God watches Li Xin defeat him before issuing his own challenge. His subsequent loss confirms Li Xin’s position as Earth’s strongest fighter 31 32.

The three then exchange martial knowledge and reach an understanding. Learning how easily an undiscovered planet could be enslaved by outsiders convinces Thunder God and Hong of the danger facing Earth. They accept Li Xin’s Machine Race techniques and promise to support his plan to strengthen Earth and unite its forces under China 33.

Ending the Monster Threat

By the final campaign against the Beast Emperors, Thunder God, Hong, and Li Xin have become sworn brothers. Their order is determined by strength rather than age: Li Xin is the eldest, Hong the second, and Thunder God the third 35.

Thunder God and Hong jointly kill the Thunder Dragon Emperor while Li Xin handles the Eight-Clawed Beast Emperor.
