At Indigo Stadium, Young Master Mao and Raven, a fellow title favorite, began the second half of their match.
"I get the feeling Gary's going to bring out something weird in the second half~" In the VIP box, Bruno watched the field below with an expectant look.
Lance could not help rolling his eyes. What kind of behavior is that? You got caught in the rain, so now you want to tear up everyone else's umbrellas?
"True. This pace just doesn't feel like Young Master Mao's style~" Janine nodded in agreement.
In the front row of the stands, Mihara, wearing black-framed glasses, frowned deeply. Judging by the situation, Gary was far trickier than he had imagined.
"But~ the championship will be mine." His lips curled into a smile, and Mihara looked as though everything was under control.
Two meters away from Mihara, Tyson, who was eating a fried shrimp cake bigger than his face, raised an eyebrow. That Mihara looks so high and mighty. I really want to slap him a couple of times~
With the intermission over, Gary and Raven stepped back onto their command platforms.
"Come on. What's coming next will be on a completely different level," Raven said seriously.
"I'll be waiting~" Young Master Mao shrugged noncommittally.
The referee returned to his station and waved both hands. "Let the second half begin!"
"Arcanine, take the field!" Without hesitation, Raven threw the Poké Ball in his hand.
"Awooo~!!" Arcanine appeared in a flash of light, throwing back his head and howling!
"So, no Intimidate~" Gary took out a Poké Ball and tossed it lightly. "Squirtle, I'm counting on you again!"
"Squirtle!" Squirtle took his stance and swallowed nervously as he watched the opposing Arcanine.
"Begin!" the referee immediately announced.
"Extreme Speed!" Raven opened with a swift attack!
Bam!
