"Heatran, Flamethrower!"
In the underground world of the mining competition, Gary faced Tobias head-on.
"Rock Wrecker!" Young Master Mao fired back without hesitation.
Whoosh! In the enclosed underground space, a dragon of flame roared toward Rhyperior.
Rhyperior thrust out its belly and took the Flamethrower head-on.
Hiss! After sliding back half a step, Rhyperior suddenly raised its right arm.
Abundant power from the earth poured into its cannon in successive rings, forming an enormous stone projectile.
"Boom!" The massive rock shell whistled through the air.
"Heatran, Metal Claw!" Tobias remained calm.
Pressed against the wall, Heatran extended its foreclaws, meeting Rock Wrecker with claws gleaming with metallic light.
Of course. How could someone as proud as him possibly dodge?
Young Master Mao raised his eyebrows. "Rhyperior's Rock Wrecker isn't that easy to take."
Boom! A moment later, Heatran braced against Rock Wrecker, only to be driven several meters backward by the boulder, carving two deep grooves into the wall.
"Impossible!" Tobias froze. Even for a heavyweight Pokémon like Rhyperior, wasn't that strength far too outrageous?
Emerald flames burned in Young Master Mao's eyes as he chuckled. "That's it?"
"Roaaar!" Rhyperior smashed its fists together. Guided by Viridian Force, the earth's power poured endlessly into its body.
With this feeling, Rhyperior wanted nothing more than to roar: Who else wants some?!
"Hmph! In that case, nobody gets to play!" Tobias's gaze hardened. "Heatran, Earthquake!"
"Urgh..." With a muffled groan, Heatran was enveloped in blue light and floated out, rigid.
"Who was that?" Tobias demanded angrily.
"Oh dear~ Can't you let people enjoy mining in peace?" Steven's gentle voice rang out.
Metagross's powerful Confusion held Heatran firmly in place, with a Bastiodon and a Rampardos following close behind.
"If you want to ruin such an interesting competition, I won't stand for it."
