Young Master Mao landed at Viridian City Airport, dragging his suitcase along. The only person who had returned with him was his secretary, Kahili.
"Boss, I'll head straight back to the Saffron City branch, then. Now that we've secured the licenses, our new game, Pokémon Emerald, can enter production too." Dressed in business attire with a Bluetooth headset hanging from her ear, Kahili spoke professionally.
"Mm, sorry for the trouble, but keep a close eye on the new game. I probably won't be staying in Kanto very long. I still have to go to Sinnoh afterward." Young Master Mao nodded in satisfaction.
"By the way, how did you get the licenses from Dragon-type Elite Four member Drake and Ice-type Elite Four member Poni?" Kahili asked curiously.
"Oh, nothing much. I took Rayquaza over and fought them. Reasoned with them and appealed to their feelings~" Young Master Mao replied casually.
"Reasoned with them, my ass..." Kahili gave a slight bow of admiration. "I'll be going, then."
Getting into the company minivan, his secretary drove off.
Young Master Mao checked the time. "He should be here soon."
Screech! A red supercar pulled off a flashy drifting parallel park in the middle of the road, coming to a steady stop in front of Gary.
"Young Master Mao, long time no see! I missed you to death~" Wearing his trademark floral shirt and baggy shorts, Scott stepped out of the sports car, looking thoroughly pleased with himself.
"Tsk, tsk, Scott, you look like you've made a ton of money!" Gary laughed.
"Hehe, all thanks to your club plan. Just a small profit, a small profit~" Scott patted his belly, his face beaming.
"Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to pick me up." Putting his suitcase in
