"Is this the Far North?"
Huo Yuhao stood on a white wasteland, surveying the world blanketed in ice and snow.
After leaving Shrek Academy, he had headed north, crossing the entire Heaven Dou Empire. After seven or eight days of nonstop travel, he had arrived here.
"That's right. This is my homeland, the Far North."
Tian Meng emerged from the Sea of Consciousness and stood on the ice plain, his gaze wistful. Even he could no longer remember how many tens of thousands of years it had been since he left.
"Well, the weather back home sure leaves a lot to be desired." Huo Yuhao grumbled as he watched the snowflakes swirling through the air.
This place was a far cry from the beautiful ice plain in his Sea of Consciousness.
Tian Meng looked at Huo Yuhao. "Um... Yuhao... aren't you cold wearing so little?"
Huo Yuhao still wore only a black short-sleeved shirt, which looked exceptionally thin in the biting wind.
Huo Yuhao shook his head. "Not only am I not cold, I actually feel really comfortable."
He wasn't trying to look cool or put on a brave face. That was how he truly felt.
The bitter wind and snowflakes as large as goose feathers hadn't affected him in the slightest. The cold outside seemed to be absorbed entirely by the chill within his dantian, turning into a refreshing stream of frosty energy that circulated through his meridians.
Huo Yuhao could feel that his cultivation had sped up considerably in the Far North.
Tian Meng said worriedly, "Yuhao... don't push yourself too hard. This is only the outskirts of the Far North. Once we reach the Core Region, the temperature will drop even further."
