Background / History

Huo Yuhao arrives on the Douluo Continent through transmigration but cannot remember how it happened. Born to Huo Yun’er, a maid, and White Tiger Duke Dai Hao, he grows up amid contempt and suppression in the Duke’s Mansion. His mother names his eye martial soul Spirit Eyes after his apparently disappointing awakening 1 3.

Before confronting Dai Hao, Yuhao secretly runs from the mansion to Star Luo City to earn money and bring supplies back to his mother. The journey is a hundred-li round trip, which he completes repeatedly in less than a year. These trips become the foundation of his exceptional running endurance 38.

After his mother’s death, he rejects Dai Hao’s parental role and refuses the duke’s offer to arrange his first soul-ring hunt. At Shrek, he presents himself as an orphan; he later conceals his parentage by claiming that his deceased father served the White Tiger Duke 4 32 72.

An elderly observer distinguishes his attitude from Wang Dong’s: her contempt targets the weak, while his targets the powerful 8 26 33 133.

His determination is selective rather than obedient. He works relentlessly for goals he values but is prepared to leave an academy rather than accept its authority unconditionally. He is also boastful and teasing, adopting “Brother Hao” as his preferred address and encouraging his classmates to use it 4 41 62.

Despite professing indifference toward power, he recognizes its temptation after forcibly drawing Wang Dong’s soul power into himself. He reflects on the harm he caused, acknowledges his behavior as vile, and proposes ending their compatibility experiments 61 62.

Yuhao openly admits a strong desire for control, but distinguishes persuasion from puppeteering: he prefers making people sincerely agree with him over manipulating an empty shell.
