Huo Qiu'er is the human identity of the Star Dou Great Forest's Emperor Auspicious Beast, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. Her innate ability to accelerate soul beasts' cultivation makes her deeply valued by Di Tian and the forest's other ferocious beasts. She nevertheless comes to resent being treated as a mascot whose bloodline matters more than her individual feelings 402 417 418.

During an earlier spiritual connection with Huo Yuhao, she received his memories—including his knowledge of another world and his thoughts at the time. These memories sparked her curiosity about human society and altered her way of analyzing problems, without erasing her underlying pride 338 402.

Pretending to enter secluded cultivation, she secretly assumed human form and followed Huo Yuhao's memories to the Body Sect. Although he had already left, she passed the entrance assessment and was accepted by Du Busi after claiming to be Huo Yuhao's older cousin. Her curiosity extends beyond inherited memories. She enjoys shopping and exploring lively human places because she prefers firsthand experience to merely knowing about them. Over time, that curiosity develops into concern about cultivation systems, the fate of souls, and the survival of soul beasts 331 417 446 458.

She is ruthless toward traffickers and murderous Evil Soul Masters, yet rejects the idea that a power is inherently evil because it can absorb vitality. Her willingness to acknowledge Tian Meng's grievances against Star Dou contrasts with her earlier predatory attitude toward him.
