After visiting Lin Jia and learning the Nine Secrets: Dou, he reached the Dao Palace realm and defeated Yin-Yang Sect cultivators who mistook him for a Yaoguang disciple.

• Jin Taiyi ate nine golden fruits and drank from the Divine Spring, awakening his Sun Sacred Body and the Sun True Scripture before escaping the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land.
• Taiyi cultivated in the wilderness, opened his Golden Bitter Sea, and advanced to the Life Spring Realm before Danyangzi discovered him and offered to take him as a disciple.
• Taiyi accepted Danyangzi’s tutelage and joined the Yaoguang Holy Land’s secluded lineage, while Danyangzi gave him scriptures, resources, and the task of purging the hidden Ruthless One’s Lineage if he became powerful enough.
• After Danyangzi sealed himself away to die, Taiyi defeated Yanxia Cave Heaven’s cultivators, found Jiang Zhe’s tomb and its source-filled ring, then visited Lin Jia and gave her a Sage Ancient Scripture and Source.
• Taiyi completed his transformations, forged a divine bell, and entered the Dao Palace Secret Realm, where he found and comprehended the Nine Secrets: Dou from an ancient stele.
• Taiyi advanced to the Dao Palace third heaven, then repelled a Yin-Yang Sect ambush by using the Nine Secrets: Dou and his Sun Sacred Body to shatter the attackers’ Dao Diagram with true solar fire.

Taiyi uncovered the Yin-Yang Sect’s abductions, infiltrated the sect to steal its scripture, and killed its Holy Maiden during a battle with a Red-Flame Flood Dragon. He escaped with valuable spoils and continued toward Qinling to pursue Nine Secret: Bing.

• Taiyi escaped the Yin-Yang Sect elders, reached the Silver Mine Mountain Range, and explored its haunted underground palace before meeting Duan De and Yaoguang disciple Wang Peng.
• Wang Peng learned of the Yin-Yang Sect’s search for gifted children and reported it to Yaoguang, whose leaders declared a forceful campaign and appointed Taiyi a Candidate Holy Son.
• Taiyi found a hidden immortal land, obtained chaos immortal gold, and broke through to the fifth Dao Palace heaven after the Five-Colored Altar transformed his shattered body.
• Taiyi disguised himself as Jin Yang, infiltrated the Yin-Yang Sect, and gained part of its sage’s legacy on Mysterious Sun Mountain before mastering the complete Ancient Yin-Yang Scripture.

After meeting Ye Fan and trading scriptures, Taiyi watched the expedition enter the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land and prepared to seek the immortal palace.

• Taiyi discovered Nine Secret: Bing at the Qin Sect, escaped its pursuit, and forged the Chaos Bell in the Fire Domain.
• Taiyi broke through to the Four Extremes Secret Realm in a lightning tribulation, then fought Yao Xi before persuading her to join him and Li Xuan against the Ruthless One’s Lineage.
• Taiyi challenged the Yaoguang Holy Son to a duel one year later and recruited support to awaken the Yaoguang Holy Land’s hidden foundation.
• Taiyi joined Clumsy Peak, obtained Nine Secrets: Jie, and traded Nine Secret: Bing with Li Ruoyu.

Taiyi gains the Nine Secrets: Shu and advances through a tribulation before rescuing Pang Bo and helping Ye Fan obtain Demon Emperor's Essence Blood. He reunites with Lin Jia, raises the Little White Tiger, and leaves for the Central Region to attend a gathering of heaven’s prides.

• Taiyi entered the Immortal Palace, found an Enlightenment Cushion and the Nine Secrets: Shu, then was expelled by an ancient formation and cultivated with the cushion and pill fragments.
• Taiyi’s Sun God Fist manifested ten suns and a Divine Form, and he survived a tribulation alongside the Primal Chaos Ancient Bell to reach the second realm of the Four Extremes.
• Taiyi met Ye Fan, brought him to the Profound Origin Sect disguised as Duan De, and traded him to Yan Ruyu for a drop of Demon Emperor's Essence Blood.
• When the Ji Family attacked Yan Ruyu’s group, Taiyi used the Purple Gold Gourd to rescue Ye Fan and the stone coffin, then freed Pang Bo from the old demon and imprisoned the demon’s primordial spirit.
• Taiyi, Ye Fan, and Pang Bo extracted about thirty drops of Demon Emperor's Essence Blood from the Demon Emperor’s Heart, divided the drops, and shared a meal before Taiyi left them.
