After giving Luo Feng the Golden Horned Beast and preparing Earth’s leaders for contact with the wider universe, Dongguan left Earth, was stranded near a Cosmic Secret Realm, and settled briefly in Kabu Village under the name Guan.

• Dongguan learned from Qiong that he was the heir to the Qiong Luo Ship and the surviving son of Dong Xuan and Xia Lan, and he vowed to avenge his parents and their people.
• Dongguan returned to Zhang Yu and Zhang Gui, advanced them with Divine Plant Essence, and warned Hong that a powerful enemy could trace the ruins to Earth.
• Dongguan and Hong fought to a draw, then Dongguan became the Third Speaker and helped organize humanity’s campaign to defeat the King-level Monsters.
• Dongguan captured the newly hatched Golden Horned Beast and killed the Thunder Dragon Emperor, while humanity’s forces defeated the remaining monster kings and reclaimed much of Earth.

On Earth, Luo Feng’s allies faced the Nolan Mountain Family’s invasion as Luo Feng returned with six powerful slaves.

• Dongguan entered the Underground Cavern with Gewo, killed Dark Beasts, and learned about the cavern and its creatures.
• Aido gave Dongguan a token to attend the Light God Temple, where Dongguan placed 176th in the selection and advanced to the Five-Person Decisive Battle.
• Dongguan defeated four opponents in the decisive battle, advanced with Meng Jin, and traveled with him to Light Capital for the Life-and-Death Selection.
• Nihemo declared himself a Light Lord, and Dongguan’s Spirit Eye helped him advance his domain as he crossed the threshold of the light law.
• Dongguan trained Meng Jin, but Nihemo arranged for them to face each other in a Blood Battle, where Dongguan killed Meng Jin and sent his remains home.

Dongguan mastered the Sea Light Art, uncovered the truth about Meng Jin, and became entangled in the Real Person Society’s plans while serving in the Vanguard Camp. After resisting Omken and escaping the battle at Base 9, he headed through a dark storm toward a travel point.

• Tuoleiwu threatened Kyoto Base City, but Zhang Gui used the Zerg Mother Nest to stall him and later killed him with Life-and-Death Embers.
• Dongguan trained in the Golden Ocean, advanced through the Sea Light Art, and inscribed its patterns into his Mental Space before discovering the cavern’s hidden azure lake and transforming after witnessing the giant bird.
• At the end of the Sacred Land selection, Dongguan concealed his wish to escape Nihemo’s control and was assigned to investigate the Real Person Society with Ze.
• Dongguan refused the Slave Chip required for the Ever-Advancing Army and joined the Vanguard Camp, where Bu Ji led his squad to investigate dangerous activity near Base 9.
• Dongguan helped Bu Ji’s squad defeat the Noren Family attackers, then recognized Meng Jin at Base No. 9 and secretly gathered information about the Real Person Society’s planned attack on Nihemo.
