The Two-Faced Beast God held the enormous sword formed from the Five-Colored Aurora Lake and brought it crashing down on the vast black mountain before him.
The black mountain spanned over a hundred million kilometers. When the enormous sword fell, it left a deep purple scar.
But the surrounding peaks writhed like flesh, expelling the purple energy, and soon healed.
The Two-Faced Beast God kept hacking away, but the black mountain recovered no slower than it was damaged.
Just then, the phantom of an enormous face coalesced over the black mountain.
"Ancestral God, you cannot destroy my Divine Kingdom. With the Primal Universe's origin supporting me, I am undefeatable.
"Hahahaha!" The voice laughed wildly, seemingly mocking how the exalted representative of the universe origin had been reduced to such a state.
"You thief of the universe origin!" The Two-Faced Ancestral God's dark, ferocious face faced the enormous visage before him as he spoke in anger.
"A thief? Isn't being able to steal it proof of my ability?" A trace of resentment flashed through the face's eyes as well. "If you hadn't acted so quickly, I wouldn't have needed to do this at all."
Becoming a Universe Venerable in a single breakthrough was indeed extremely impressive, but if he had broken through directly to Universe Master,
then he would truly have been invincible. At that point, he would have had a chance to negotiate with the universe origin and have it let him leave.
Only by reaching the Universe Ocean could he truly go to meet his "Lord."
At that moment, however, a thoughtful look crossed the pale face on the back of the Ancestral God's head.
