Power Progression

The following documents the development of Dongguan’s Divine Kingdom, rather than separate kingdoms belonging to his companions.

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Divine Kingdom established — Immortal 237 After expanding his internal world with borrowed Universe Crystals, Dongguan merges it with a vast space fragment deep in the interlayer. Its unusual structure includes 10,081 Star Worlds and a real, overlapping Shadow World.
Rules become more complete — Universe Venerable 343 The kingdom exceeds 100 light-years across and continues capturing space fragments. Its improved rules allow Miantai and Xuyue to become its first native World Lords.
Miniature-Universe-like development — Universe Master 400 537 Its appetite for space fragments intensifies. Although described in miniature-universe terms, it is later explicitly distinguished from a true Miniature Universe.
Forced transformation begins 687 Energy pouring in from the Primal Universe fills the Energy Ocean and drives expansion despite Dongguan’s attempt to postpone his breakthrough.
Chaos evolution 688 After exceeding 10,000 light-years, the kingdom develops additional void passages admitting chaos flow. Its inhabited continent and void are enclosed in protective “sacs.”
Miniature Universe — True God breakthrough 689 It reaches 100 million light-years across. Dongguan returns to complete the externally triggered breakthrough and prevent collapse, but the resulting Miniature Universe initially remains trapped within the Primal Universe.

Formation and Location

  • Origin: A Divine Kingdom develops from the internal world possessed at the World Lord stage. Establishing it involves merging that transformed world with a space fragment 140 387.
  • Site selection: Cultivators choose fragments substantially larger than their kingdoms because expansion continues after establishment. A kingdom can subsequently move and absorb additional fragments 140.
  • Typical depth: Ordinary Immortals can establish their kingdoms in the Divine Kingdom Layer. The space interlayer also contains a shallower Space Fragment Layer and a deeper Space Torrent Layer 237.
  • Hazards: Larger fragments become more common deeper inside the interlayer, but navigating among them becomes increasingly dangerous 237.
  • Secrecy: Dongguan rejects an insufficiently secluded location for the Thousand-Leaf Grass’s kingdom and later plans to relocate his own after enemies obtain its coordinates 174 525.

Features and Functions

Internal Environment

  • A Divine Kingdom can contain forests, grasslands, deserts, swamps, seas, and other terrain. The Illusion-Light Vine’s kingdom has a central temple surrounded by varied landscapes 140.
  • Its laws normally emphasize the law attained by its owner. Dongguan’s kingdom is exceptional because its connection to the Universe Origin distributes the Ten Great Laws in roughly equal measure 237.
  • Divine palaces serve as important internal seats of authority; Dongguan’s unusual Shadow World itself also functions as his divine palace 237 621.

Divine Kingdom Teleportation

  • Long-distance travel: Kingdoms provide transportation across enormous distances. Myriad-Heart Man’s scattered clones lead Dongguan to identify their movements as probable Divine Kingdom Teleportation 352.
  • Access points: Immortal-related tokens and immortal crystals can serve as teleportation-related items or hidden points of access 168 174.
  • Escape and reinforcement: Dongguan uses the Illusion-Light Vine’s teleportation to escape pursuing Immortal Zerg Warriors. Luo Feng later offers to position his Demon Killer Clan body to facilitate reinforcements 145 525.
  • Destination limits: Reaching the nearest available teleportation location does not necessarily place the traveler directly at their objective; King Withered Bones still requires twenty minutes to reach Black Snow Marquis 145.
  • Restricted locations: Dongguan cannot freely switch bodies through this method while inside special locations such as the Primal Star or Universe Ocean 237.
  • Interception: Island Master Shihua intercepts a Machine Race Immortal’s teleportation and seizes his kingdom 352.

Defensive Advantage

  • Owners can fight with a home-field advantage, but it does not guarantee victory. Dong Xuan World Lord and his Immortal Plant Lifeform remain outmatched inside the plant’s own kingdom 34.
  • Dongguan’s developed kingdom can suppress invading Universe Masters by more than one tier while preventing their use of Control of Space-Time and Teleportation 531.
  • Within his own kingdom, Dongguan can form spatial transport structures by expending divine power 537.

Life and Cultivation

  • Kingdoms can support native populations and serve as cultivation grounds for their owners, companions, and soul slaves 140 253 343.
  • Ordinary Divine Kingdom life faces an innate deficiency associated with dense populations and scarce universal energy in the space interlayer. Dongguan suspects his unusually structured kingdom may avoid this limitation 373.
  • Creators can fix loyalty into life born within their kingdoms. Most powerful cultivators choose to do so, although enforced loyalty diminishes individuality and the prospects for producing exceptional individuals 593.

Vulnerabilities

  • External foundation: At the Immortal stage, the Divine Kingdom becomes the cultivator’s principal remaining weakness, removed from the body itself 560.
  • Exposure: Discovering its coordinates gives enemies a target that cannot escape as easily as an unanchored World Lord 352.
  • Destruction: A sufficiently powerful battle can shatter a kingdom. An Ancestral God later destroys Myriad-Heart Man’s core kingdom with assistance from Universe Masters 34 367.
  • Seizure: A kingdom can be taken rather than simply destroyed, as demonstrated by Island Master Shihua’s capture of a Machine Race Immortal’s kingdom 352.
  • Internal sabotage: Mechanical-flow methods exploit inhabitants of Dongguan’s kingdom, disrupt his control, and cause Divine Kingdom Teleportation to fail 525 531.
  • Residual existence: A dead kingdom can persist as a barren world. Feiluo’s kingdom remains accessible after losing its vitality 294.
  • Refining material: Dongguan recognizes that properties of the seized Machine Race kingdom make it suitable as water-origin-law material for artifact refining 352.

Dongguan’s Divine Kingdom

Architecture

Region Characteristics
Void World Contains the moving Star Worlds. At establishment, time in the surrounding void matches the outside Primal Universe 237.
10,081 Star Worlds Initially similar in size, with time accelerated one hundredfold. Named examples include Sun World, Taiyin World, and Earthstar World 237.
Earthstar World Takes the central position formerly occupied by the Origin World. Dongguan names it for its resemblance to Earth and speculates that its native life might share Earth’s unusual qualities 237.
Origin World / Shadow World A real, coexisting interlayer whose membrane overlaps the kingdom’s outer membrane. It normally remains separate from the Void World except through particular connections, including energy channels 237.
Core World and black hole The central region contains a black hole connected to the Origin Land of the Universe, supplying the kingdom with energy 237 239.
Energy Ocean Sustains expansion and cultivation. It lies mostly within the Origin World, though some Star World inhabitants can connect to it and temporary tributaries appear in the void 343 683.
Divine Palace and floating islands A palace floats above the Energy Ocean, whose rootless islands drift with its currents 239.
Origin Source Continent A later addition exceeding one light-year in diameter and hundreds of billions of kilometers in thickness. It contains 10,081 Vortex Passages connecting to the Star Worlds 405.

Structural Origins

  • Earth-inspired design: Dongguan’s early imitation of the structure containing Earth causes his internal world to mutate while he is still a World Lord 537.
  • Time Realm: His Light Lord’s innate secret technique contributes to the kingdom’s unusual architecture 537.
  • Primal Star research: Studying and imitating the Primal Star’s structure further refines the kingdom’s operation 537 683.
  • Advanced architecture: Luo Feng recognizes similarities to comparatively advanced Miniature Universe designs, while noting that the kingdom has not yet become one 537.

Sacred Number Civilization

  • Unification: Dongguan’s Miniature Virtual Universe strengthens connections among the Star Worlds, Earthstar World, Origin Source Continent, and communities living in the void 512 520.
  • Population milestones: By the time Dongguan reviews its development, the kingdom contains more than 10,000 World Lords and three native deities who have reached Immortal 520.
  • Technological capacity: Its inhabitants can synthesize several E9-class alloys, supported by virtual experimentation, information provided by Dongguan, and power from the Energy Ocean 520.
  • Earthstar’s role: Education emphasizes personality development, while environmental preservation takes precedence over most extraction and industry 552.
  • Division of activity: Concentric regions of the Origin Source Continent train cultivators; Star Worlds and the void host technological factories. Individuals can switch between technological and cultivation paths 552.
  • Knowledge access: Basic technological and cultivation knowledge is freely available through the local virtual network, with restrictions on dangerous technologies 552.
  • Departure: Qualified inhabitants can eventually apply to leave for the Primal Universe through either developmental path 552.

Governance and Security

  • Dongguan generally permits inhabitants to choose war or peaceful development without intervention. Initially, their principal restriction is a prohibition on outside contact 524.
  • Early visitors are ordered not to access the external Virtual Universe. At that stage, Dongguan refuses to bring even his relatives inside until he can establish that a Universe Strongest One cannot destroy the kingdom 253.
  • He erases Leitia’s memories of the kingdom before allowing her to leave 367.
  • The local Miniature Virtual Universe can block the larger Virtual Universe’s perception 512.
  • Dongguan can extend his perception throughout the kingdom, but its scale and his other responsibilities prevent continuous monitoring of everything 520.
  • He intervenes when religious movements producing Faith Crystals reach Earthstar World, because their production depletes the intelligence he values in its inhabitants and affects the kingdom’s foundations 405.

Major Events

Establishment and Early Use

Dongguan borrows one hundred trillion Universe Crystals from August Venerable and spends five years expanding his internal world before becoming Immortal. After repeated teleportations to conceal his route, he enters the space interlayer from a remote location in Human Territory and establishes his kingdom far deeper than an ordinary Immortal would require 237.

He subsequently brings King Huozhen, Abis, King Lianxin, and the sealed Nan Cheng inside. King Huozhen is assigned to study the Wood and Grass Divine Cauldron, while King Lianxin continues attempting to enslave Nan Cheng. Leitia later reaches World Lord there, and Dongguan completes his Formless Soul while observing her transformation 253 283.

Reorganization and Outside Discovery

Black Universe Founder discovers the enormous, expanding kingdom and sends a concealed Divine Power Avatar inside. He later demonstrates that its defenses are not absolute by claiming he can enable a prisoner to escape through a specially created secret art 343 365.

Dongguan reorganizes the Star Worlds and plans periodically opening, strength-restricted Vortex Passages. The resulting Origin Source Continent provides a common meeting ground for inhabitants previously separated among the worlds 388 405 524.

Invasion

An attack using mechanical-flow methods disrupts Dongguan’s control and teleportation. He suspects the Machine Race, requests Human Race assistance, and shares the kingdom’s coordinates with his allies because the enemy already knows them 525.

Four Crystal Race Universe Masters enter with alternate bodies. As the Sacred Number Civilization dismantles the hostile formation, Dongguan regains enough control to suppress them. Two Tier 4 Prison Race Universe Masters subsequently force their way inside, and Luo Feng joins Dongguan in the defense 531 537.

The kingdom later becomes a trap for enemies rather than merely a target. After capturing Void True Demon God with Forced Teleportation, Dongguan and Black Universe Founder wait inside for opportunities to draw in further opponents 561.

Transformation into a Miniature Universe

While Dongguan is trapped in the Origin Land of the Universe, incoming energy finally fills his previously depleted reserves. The kingdom begins evolving before he has completed his intended divine-body foundation 687.

Chaos flow enters during the expansion, while protective structures isolate the inhabited regions. Because the Origin Will has triggered the process out of order, Dongguan must return and complete the breakthrough to prevent collapse. The resulting hundred-million-light-year Miniature Universe initially fails to leave the Primal Universe, though its eventual departure is confirmed later 688 689 737.
