Before I knew it, this book had officially come to an end.
Originally, I wanted to write a quieter food novel with all sorts of little stories woven into it, but later I felt that something would always be missing without travel, so I chose to include it.
But as it turned out, road-trip fiction wasn't easy to write, so it's understandable if you felt it diverged somewhat from the beginning.
Although I could still have kept writing-after all, there was still Sinnoh, along with so many other regions-I felt there wasn't much point in that. It was time for this stage of Heath's journey to come to a close, so the book ended for good at the end of August.

As for the new book, I currently have two directions in mind. One is to keep running a small restaurant, but without any more traveling, instead choosing a city to settle down in.
As for the second, I'm still thinking it over.
