Heath froze. What was this? How had I suddenly completed another quest? I didn't even know anything about it. What was going on?
Heath felt around in his pocket in bewilderment, then found a small blue vial. It looked a little like the little blue bottles in advertisements from his previous life, and there did not seem to be much in it. There was no branding on it at all, as though it were an unregulated product with no manufacturer, production date, or quality certification.

Heath stared blankly at the little vial, and his bewildered expression grew animated. He could not hide the delight on his face. Happily, he picked up the little bottle, opened the cap, and drank it. It was a little sweet and sour, rather like strawberry flavor, but beyond that, he felt nothing.
"What exactly does hand dexterity mean?" Heath looked down at his hands and gave them an experimental shake, but did not feel much of a change.
"Young man, give me a serving of Egg Fried Rice." Just as Heath was about to investigate, he saw the old man who had been coming for breakfast every morning walk over. The old man pounded his lower back and spoke to him with a smile. Heath nodded, set his questions aside for the moment, and turned to prepare the old man's Egg Fried Rice.
The old man's tastes changed, so Heath could only do his best to choose flavors he would like both before and after the change. But while making the Egg Fried Rice, Heath keenly noticed something unusual: his hands seemed to have become faster.
