James was very talkative, and he had such a deft way with conversation that he made people feel completely at ease. Before Heath knew it, the two of them had grown considerably closer.
He had to admit that these wealthy young people generally had their own strengths. At the very least, Heath felt he could never become so familiar with someone he had just met so quickly.
Everything James said and did also felt comfortable and pleasant, giving the impression that he was very well-mannered.

He had already heard some of Heath's experiences on the road. Of course, Heath had left certain things out, such as Mew, Legendary Pokémon, and his golden finger.
Naturally, he could not talk about those things, but he could mention other matters, such as the ideas he had sold. Heath now knew that Silph Co. had released a brand-new Poké Ball. Each purchase came with a random little figurine of one of several specific Pokémon. It was extremely popular, and Silph Co.'s sales had risen considerably again.
So much so that other companies had followed suit. Heath had never underestimated these businesses and merchants. Their keen eye for profit was astounding.
"Because I said back then that I wanted to make a circuit around Kanto." Heath smiled. Of course, his main reason was that he wanted to complete his achievement quests. Finishing these little achievement quests earned him some pretty good rewards, and Heath was very curious about what he would receive once he completed them all.
