"I think it means there are groups of Dugtrio up ahead, so drivers need to steer clear of them!" A middle-aged man stood up and spoke with absolute confidence.
Heath thought that made sense. After all, the presence of Pokémon like Dugtrio meant the ground was riddled with holes, so Dugtrio and Diglett could be considered harmful Pokémon in some respects.
Towns and inhabited areas in particular often needed Diglett-repelling devices installed to stop Diglett from coming over, burrowing underground, and digging away the foundations of people's houses. Things like that had happened before.
Heath had seen news reports before about people's houses occasionally collapsing because of Dugtrio's tunneling, followed by League experts reminding everyone to buy Diglett-repelling devices.
Out in the wild, though, there was no way to install equipment like that along every road.
However, Diglett were very popular Pokémon in agriculture. They could help loosen the soil and were good partners for farmers.
"Incorrect. That's not what it means." The instructor shook his head, and the discussion continued among the students.
Heath was a little surprised. He had thought the man's answer was right, but unexpectedly, it wasn't.
"Does it mean Dugtrio aren't allowed to drive? Or that there are no Diglett ahead?" A girl stood up and asked curiously, but the instructor still shook his head.
Now Heath was interested too. He really was curious about the answer to this question.
"This is an actual question from last month's theory test. The correct answer to this question is actually this." Smiling, the instructor tapped the question on the blackboard. Heath understood at once. So it was a question that had only been introduced recently.
"Reduce your speed ahead and proceed slowly," the instructor said with a serious expression. The other test candidates in the classroom immediately
